Russians are putting a hurting on now. About to tie it up at 2 sets each.

    Going to the fifth set

What a choke job by team USA

Russia just steamrolled their asses at the end, good lord.

Was it pool play or the single elimination tourny?

US Women's 4x100 Medley Relay just got the Gold and World Record.

    Missy Franklin - Back
    Rebecca Soni - Breast
    Dana Vollmer - Fly
    Allison Schmitt - Free

Up Next is Men's 4x100 Medley Relay

    Matt Grevers - Back
    Brendan Hanson - Breast
    Phelps - Fly
    Nathan Adrian - Free

    Phelps gets gold #18
  • Fly4Fun
Grevers gets a .5 lead for Hansen who holds off Kitajima from Japan on the 1st 50, but loses it on second 50.

Phelps has a great 100 Fly and gets back the lead to give to Adrian.

No one was close to Adrian.

Phelps gets his 18th Gold Medal.

That's twice as many gold medals as anyone else.

Also, something they mentioned last night, Phelps is the 1st male in 100 years to threepeat in 2 different events (200IM and 100Fly). This is not a swimming specific record, but any male in any 2 events.

Adrian was in beast mode for that last leg

Crazy to see Phelps' last event. He could have put the record completely out reach if he competed at Rio. He would only be 31.

Hell of a run by Galen Rupp.

    Great coaching Alberto.

    Screw you Phil Knight.

    women's 100M final up next.
  • tk421
Jamaica with the gold, looks like US took silver. They haven't shown the final times yet.

Frazer-Pryce 10.75 was the winner, Jeter for US 10.78.
  • ptown_trojans_1
The Jamaicans take it again. Same as in 2008. Jeter in 2nd though.
Looks like U.S. got 4th and 5th too. Time was around 10.75.
BTW, the 10k was awesome to watch. What a finish by Farah. Props to the U.S. too.

Salazar has been good for Rupp.

What a race. I was waiting for him to be out kicked. He held on strong.

I thought Rupp was gonna reel him in. A brilliant run for both of Alberto's guys.
Pretty huge that teammates from other countries went 1-2.

Here is a cool video (if yer into it) one of Galen's last workouts preparing for the Olympics.

That was pretty cool seeing Ennis win.

The breakfast of champions: Chocolate milk and Cornflakes. Or as Rowdy Gaines calls it, Diet Pepsi and Cialis. That dude's on serious drugs.

Awesome finish to the Olympics for Michael Phelps. He's the best ever in his sport. How many people can actually say that and it really mean something? Ten? Remarkable. Can't wait to see him in Rio.

Yeah, she's pretty nice looking. Still, the entire Olympic field is watered down without Alicia.

On another note, I think Sun Yang may be having a seizure in the pool. NBC should probably call 9-1-1. What a lunatic.
