    I'm not hurting for $400. Laptops are a major investment when I'm buying. I'll gladly shell out the extra dough for what I want.

    How do you know that? I use my Mac primarily for DJing. Go out and see how many DJs that use DVS software not running Macs. You won't find many.

    I don't get the "battery" arguments, considering people have to be cognizant of what apps they have running, what notifications they have set up, push/fetch, etc.

    "OMG, my Facebook gives me status updates every 30 seconds, but I don't know why my battery is dying so fast." My iPhone 4S battery does just fine, because I am not a retard.
