False. Didn't see Hangover 2 (and I enjoyed the first one). When the reviews said it was the same film, only in Thailand, I was done. Even the Austin Powers films changed a little bit - although the 3rd one was godawful.

I will not. I didn't see Hangover 2 either, and I feel I'm better off for it.

I will probably see it, but it can't possibly dissapoint me.

The second one wasn't anywhere near as good as the first.

IDGAF. I'm seeing the 3rd one. The second one made me laugh, and with a movie like that, that's all I care about. Take my money, make me laugh, we call it even.

For all the star wars geeks......Solo, Luke and Leia are coming back for EP VII>

Anyone looking to see The new Oz movie?

and for the record i talked to my buddy who was in the SEAL Teams and a couple of his guys went to see Zero Dark Thirty. Most times he rips these kind of movies at being atrocious, but said for th emost part it was a good movie. A few things that stood out that he though were just plain out of the ordinary was all the talking during the raid. HE said they typically are as silent as possible. (same thing was said but the so called shooter in a recenty interview)

Will Princess Leia be CGI? Carrie Fisher looks like she ate Princess Leia.

Did not disappoint. Not enough Mila Kunis being sexy, though.

    Really liked Oz.
  • Trueblue23
And I'm stoked for "After Earth" with Will Smith and his son.

I'm pumped for Oz..I'm happy to hear you guys liked it, I'd be really disappointed if it was poorly made..i've been waiting for it for a while.

Oz was pretty good although I thought James Franco was miscast as the Wizard.

I do like the prequel story of Wicked better though.

I thought oz was ok....but I think Mila kunis was not the right actress for that part

    I'll certainly agree with that.

Caught up on a few flicks tonight. The King's Speech, My Left Foot, and The Pianist. DDL was ridiculous in My Left Foot. The Pianist is a well made movie but how did Adrien Brody beat DDL in '02 for best actor? DDL as Bill the butcher in Gangs was easily better than Brody.

Short answer: Leo and his on and off Irish accent was considered the main actor and the Academy couldn't get past that. DDL was completely better than he was, and made the film enjoyable despite its many, many flaws. I don't think it was that big of a travesty as Adrien Brody was very good. But with DDL it almost seems as if the Academy should just hand him his award - he is that good.

Speaking of which, why hasn't Gary Oldman won anything (leading or supporting) by now?

    Flaws?

Cameron Diaz' character. Completely superfluous. And Leo's less than stellar accent that changed in every other scene.
