    Both solid choices.
Anyone have any beer specific glasses? The ones to drink out ya fucks lol
I've been looking at a few from Sam Adams/DFH/North Coast.

I have a couple of plain pint glasses, and one sam adams styled glass with the bowed out top. Rarely use that one though. All seem like a bunch of marketing to me.

    Thats what I figured.

The laser-etched bottomed glasses are legit.

Classic pilsner glass or red Solo cup.

Those glasses are awesome. Use mine all the time.

I've got a bunch of glasses in various sizes and shapes. Gonna pick up a few snifters soon.

Depends on what I'm drinking; have a bunch of different glasses. A bit ago I was using a tulip glass which I like a lot, nonic pint glass which I use a lot, a snifter for stouts and pilsner glasses for pilsners, some standard pint and random glasses for whatever sometimes.

I really do like the Sam Adams glass (don't have one), got one for my brother in law and always use it when I'm at his place.

Jungle Jims sells the Sam Adams glasses.

Yep thats where I bought mine when they first came out. They weren't that expensive as I saw advertised. I believe he might have gotten some oops glasses as there are some printing/ink in areas where it shouldn't be. I could care less as they drink the same.

I love them and use these for the majority of beers. I only use my regular pilsners when these are dirty. I do have some snifter and tulip glasses that I will use depending on the style...and my mood.

Went to Vintage Estates on Sunday. Got some Nitro Milk Stout, Nugget Nectar, DFH Burton Baton, Green Flash Double Stout, Southern Tier 2X Stout, some really hoppy blonde from the Netherlands, Great Divide double IPA or something, and like 4 other things. Was a good time, woke up at 2:30 yesterday afternoon.

In honor of march madness - the washington post has Beer Madness. I've done this the past 3 years. Last year had 64, this year it's back down to 32

    Yes.

Jealousy! Vintage Estate is like.........heaven. I wish I could live there.

You know they're expanding it (again)? It needs it. That place is packed almost every time I go in there.

Having a beer for the first time. Killer Penguin from Boulder Beer Company. Had the waxed neck and all. I do like it but it is a little too chilled right now. It was a last second decision by The Wife so I didn't have time to set it out and let it warm up a bit. I'd like to try this again, but I believe The Jungle got a limited amount. I still have a Stone Old Guardian in the fridge for another time. It's ashame I won't be able to compare them...well the night is early so you never know.

I go about every other week or so because it's on the drive to/from school when I take my alternate "I'm bored of going the same way" route. The last time was the first time there's been more than like 3 people in the place when I was there.
  • Curly J
Well I lied and was able to drink the Stone tonight. Yes it was too cold also, but I liked the Killer Penguin better. It was more traditional as the Stone was more hoppy...go figure.

That hops kick wasn't so bad as now I want hops. I drank my last Nectar last night so now it's time to dwindle down my Hopslam stash.

Trying another one of Stone's collaboration beers, a Pumpkin Ale; La Citrueille Celeste. They did this one with The Bruery (love their beers) and Elysian Brewing. Very interesting beer (not unusual for Stone or The Bruery), it's a darker beer and has a lot of cinnamon and roasty flavors in addition to the pumpkin. Pretty good and worth trying once; would be better to have in the fall.

Well I opened my fridge tonight and there were Nectars. Was I so drunk I overlooked them before...no The Wife bought some more today. That and some Aprihop. So I had a Rivertown Bock, an Aprihop, them a couple Nectars.

I did find in another box she bought some Sam Adams I've never tried or heard of. Cinder Bock, Tasman Red, Griffin's Bow, and Dark Depths. All pints plus six, so bombers. Any one else tried them? Love some feedback.

Oh and for Justin and a reference to the wine thread, two Apothic Red bottles in the same box. Very nice Red blended wine.

Jungle Jim's Beerfest tickets are now on sale. I don't know the exact date, but it's Friday and Saturday Father's day weekend, so mid to late June. Hope some of you local beer snobs make it as I'd love to meet you. I'll be there both nights.

I saw these last week at a couple different places; thought they looked interesting but decided to pass. Let me know how they turn out.

Going with Stone Levitation and Pale Ale (both which I'm amazed I have yet to try) for the weekend.
