  Yeah. About two years ago was visiting a friend up near Detroit and he took me there. Loved just about everything I had there, especially the DRIPA and the Blueberry and Raspberry Eisbocks.

  Did anyone in Ohio go to any Hopslam release parties ? I went Jungle Jim's release of it on tap. I believe they blew the half barrel in 33 minutes. It also came with a Hopslam Snifter style of glass with the Hopslam logo on it. It doesn't seem as hoppy this year, more sweet. It was better than last years, but not as great as I have had in years past. I'll have to get a sixer today and try it again.

  I got the same snifter last year at a Hopslam release party.

  Southern Tier makes some great beers. Love their Black Water Series.
  
  It's Cincy Beer Week this week. Not sure if I'll go to any events. I am going to a friends house tonight for a group tasting. Bringing some Firestone Walker a friend brought back from St Louis. We can't get that here. I'll finally get to try Pliney the Elder tonight with a few other West Coast beers a friend ordered.

  BTW Champs at Easton is tapping HopSlam on the 17th and that's their pint night so it will only be $2.25. I'm not sure if it starts at 5 or 7

  Got a buddy from CA that is supposed to be sending me some Pliney the Elder. Really hope it lives up to what I've built it up to be in my head.

  It's easy to use, start typing, the beer will pop up, add location.
  
  If drinking draft, select the correct year if an option.

  Pliny is as good as advertised. Not like life changing but like easily one of the best beers you'll ever have and one of the best IPAs especially.
