Brain damage.........smoking rocks will do that to you.

I like the timeout adjustment, something needed to be done to speed up NBC's broadcast.

Agree 100% As someone posted above, the game drags big time when you're actually at the stadium. Anything to keep the speed of the game up is a good thing.

So is this the depth chart we should be seeing from the Irish? I put all of the class ranks in their eligibility, not their academic class.

    QB - Dayne Crist (SO)
RB - Armando Allen (SR), Cierre Wood (FR)
WR - Michael Floyd (JR), Shaq Evans (SO)
WR - Duval Kamara (SR), TJ Jones (FR)
    WR - Theo Riddick (SO)
TE - Kyle Rudolph (JR), Mike Ragone (JR)
    LT -Zach Martin (SO)
LG - Chris Stewart (SR), Chris Watt (FR)
C - Braxton Cave (SO), Dan Wenger (SR)
    RG - Trevor Robinson (JR)
RT - Taylor Dever (JR), Andrew Nuss (JR)

Underlined players are absolutely gone after 2010. I think we will see 2010 work out much of the kinks, and since we return everyone in 2011 (please have a lockout NFL!) I expect big things offensively.

looks to be about right except Ragone might not be the #2 TE and I haven't seen anyone come out and say Cave has taken the starting center spot. I could have missed it though. Ragone has missed quite a bit of time due to a concussion and Tyler Eifert and Alex Welch have both had good camps. I also think for most of these spots a 2 deep isn't going to be that important. A lot of guys are going to see the field.

Deano Cook thinks pretty highly of the Irish.....probably too highly.

    Ya think?

ND wonders why they are the most hated program in college football, they haven't done anything in the past 20 years besides a close loss to USC, and a bowl win against a depleted 6-6 WAC team, yet you still have prominent ND fans coming out with garbage like this.

Win something, then talk, not the other way around.

As far as the upcoming ND season, I am in shock that some posters actually believe ND can win 10 games, much less go undefeated. This team will be 7-5, 6-6, or 5-7, and if they accept the mediocre bowl game they'll get invited too, they'll probably lose that one as well.

Call that "trolling", but if you're a rational college football fan, you know that's the truth, and you can take that to the bank.

All I want to know is.....where does Beano Cook get his weed? That shit gotta be the BOMB!

Does this imply that you are a rational college football fan? LOL. Welcome back, where have you been for so long?

    Neat.

Sooo there's a solid chance I could make it out to South Bend for the Purdue game, what do you think I would end up paying for tickets?
  • karen lotz
Are you going to go there without tix and try to get some outside the stadium? If you want to wait til after the game starts you'll be able to get them for less than face. I looked on ebay last week and 2 tix together were going for $300 and up...
  • sjmvsfscs08
That's what I've always heard. I've personally never been to a game, so I want some advice. One would think they wouldn't be much harder than Toledo tickets haha, with the team being so hapless and all. Although I guess at that point they will still be undefeated and false hopes of national championships will still be abound. :(

I looked online and saw some for like $100/each. I'm definitely willing to wait until after the game starts and get them for face value. What is that, like $70? And would two together be hard to find? I have an autistic date from craigslist I'm trying to impress. :D

In related news, I have an Ohio State-Ohio ticket for sale. I have to be in some alcohol classes all weekend. You know, with me being an alcoholic and an incorrigible fuck, basically a general a menace to society.
  • karen lotz
I've always had tickets before heading to South Bend, but I have a pretty good hookup. A friends dad works with a ND Alum who sells them for face, any games he doesn't want to go to. Last year I went to Washington, USC and Michigan State. They are still a hard ticket to find unless you are willing to wait until Kickoff. I did see a tweet from someone that one of the later games, maybe Tulsa or Utah had tickets returned to them and went on sale this morning at 8. I didn't check them out but might be worth it to see if you can make it to another game too.
  • sjmvsfscs08
Tulsa is on the 30th, and while Ohio State is @ Minnesota that day, it's also Halloween weekend, which is just insane in Columbus. Sluts falling over sluts as far as the eye can see hahah

I would be interested in the Utah game. I turn 21 on Nov. 8, it's Nov 13., I get my license back the 12th. It's a recipe for success. But at the same time it's the Penn State game and that may decide the Big Ten, I wouldn't want to miss that. :( So it's 50/50, if the OSU-PSU ticket could fetch a solid deal of cash, I'd be worth it to sell.

this site has a PM feature,fella's....btw,if you do get to a game in SB, make sure you get over to the Morris Inn for a cocktail or three--and get to the bookstore early
  • karen lotz
I've never gone out after games in South Bend, usually just tailgate hard before hand, sober up during the game and then drive home afterward. I would like to stay the night somewhere around there and hit up places like the Backer and Legends. The bookstore is ridiculous, I made the mistake of heading there one time for tshirts etc. They have a pretty nice selection of stuff in a tent at White Field, which is the general admission parking lot. Not nearly as crowded.

    What's with the library?
