They had a little sit down with the Elon player behind closed doors too. Such a joke. And don't give me "he's a completely different person off the floor." WHO CARES?!? He has intentionally tripped opposing players 3 times in a year and a half's time. He HAS to be suspended. And it better be more than 1 game.
Yeah that was really bad lol. ACC needs to suspend him from conference games, that's what's really going to sting. Tripping too is so bad in basketball, the constant pivoting and jumping could really get someone hurt by an intentional trip

The dude has some serious issues. He needs suspended for quite a few games

St. John's beats Cuse by 33 in the Dome.

    Louisville beats UK by 3.

    Wow. What the hell?

I gotta give UL credit for responding. There were a few moments I thought they would fold.

Syracuse is a complete train-wreck this season.

    Right?!?

Jimmy has described this as one of his best teams ever at Syracuse. And now they are on the verge of missing the tourny.

Also, Kansas losses Udoka Azubuike for he season with a wrist injury.

Also, you know something needs to be done with Dickie V says this:
Can't understand the behavior of the multi talented Duke star Grayson Allen @theACC has no choice but must discipline / Enough Already
  • Laley23
Allen is a joke. The temper tantrum he threw was comical. He says it was a dumb thing to do, but he argued as if it was a bad call. What a douche.
  • ironman02
With the media storm this has created, Duke basically had no choice but to do this. Will be interesting to see how many games this lasts.

I'm betting 1-2 games. Based on the fact that they literally did no punishment the last 2 times he did it, no reason to believe #3 will be too severe.
  • friendfromlowry
Allen just has no self control. If he feels wronged his instinct is to just trip. I don't watch enough or pay enough attention to know if he has any chance at the next level but if he does he's killing his stock.
  • Laley23
He hasn't major issues. The tantrum afterword is more freighting for what's going on in his head than anything else. Especially since he was throwing a public tantrum KNOWING deep down he was wrong.

I'm hoping he reacted that way on the bench because maybe Coach K told him that if it happens again, the penalty would be pretty severe. Hoping that is the case

    This.

To throw a fit like an 8 year old because he got caught has "spoiled little bitch" written all over it.

Allen is a dbag and coach K deserves a lot of flack too for putting up with it this long without a suspension or anything.

Seth Greenberg being a Coach K apologist on Sportscenter right now.
  • Heretic
Basically, the POS is getting an "indefinite" suspension, so he can miss a handful of games against weaker competition and EVERYONE can praise Coach K for being a great leader, so when the suspension is lifted right when they play a tough team, we'll all get to hear a lot about "a great leader showing tough love" and "Allen's redemption" and all that bullshit.

What was he saying? Because last night at halftime of UK/Louisville, he was saying he needed to do make a statement.
  • wildcats20
My guess is he misses 3 games. And will be back for the January 10 game at FSU. That way K can get him back in the rotation before their game at Louisville.

This isn't even the worst of the 3, imo. The one last year against FSU was much worse. And much more obvious to his dirtiness.
  • Ironman92
The trip is just ridiculous like Draymond's crotch kicks but the tantrum afterwards was unsettling. WTH? He made Ryan Leaf look mature.

I don't relent his exact wording but he was basically excusing K for not doing anything sooner. Talked about how K probably gandled it behind the scenes the first 2 times
