It's all stupid. As fans, I'm sure we all get pissed off, but never once have I thought about trying to call some ref or mess with his personal life. It's completely fucking ridiculous. Not trying to say that you're part of that, or even truly defending it, but I wouldn't think you'd be surprised when people think it's absurd...because it is.Azubuike24;1855383 wrote:Not sure what's funny. isadoregosh a ruddies, Kentucky is an historically sleazy program, with a low life cheating head coach, one of a continuing series of them throughout its history. Of course it attracts fans who are scum.

gosh a ruddies if it is not criminal, it should be.Azubuike24;1855383 wrote:Not sure what's funny. Essentially, posting his phone number or trolling his business website, immature, but not criminal. -
Azubuike24Of course it's stupid. It's just not a story unless story about sports trolls on the internet deserve headlines now.

Heretic
The fact you're hilariously defending (IT GOT HIM MORE HITS!!!!!) harassment against a ref that reached the point where the FBI is involved simply because of "anecdotal evidence" said ref "hates" Kentucky.Azubuike24;1855383 wrote:Not sure what's funny. GOONx19The people who harassed the guy in any way should be publicly embarrassed. I don't think it has anything to do with it being Kentucky fans, though. There are stories out there involving a lot of different programs in which fans have harassed or threatened coaches, former recruits, and other players. They are all garbage people, regardless of where they live or who they support.

I didn't defend it. I said it's not worthy of a headline story when it happens in sports every single day. Ever been on Twitter before? Or the internet?Heretic;1855726 wrote:The fact you're hilariously defending (IT GOT HIM MORE HITS!!!!!) harassment against a ref that reached the point where the FBI is involved simply because of "anecdotal evidence" said ref "hates" Kentucky. -

gosh a ruddies, just part of your continuing effort to diminish and excuse these horrible acts against a man just trying to do his job. Members of the fan base of Kentucky BB should be going to jail. Of course then you could lead the effort for amnesty for them because they were just Kentucky fans being Kentucky fans.Azubuike24;1855768 wrote:I didn't defend it. wildcats20Cameron Johnson has committed to Carolina. Now the fight to make him eligible immediately, which he absolutely should be

Yeah he definitely should be. Will be interesting to see how its ruled. Even though its UNC I really hope the kid gets to play.wildcats20;1856911 wrote:Cameron Johnson has committed to Carolina. Now the fight to make him eligible immediately, which he absolutely should be -
GOONx19I think the statement he gave was very well put together, with strong (easy) arguments. He should get to play.

wildcats20Cam Johnson has been cleared to play.

What do you think Carolina's lineup will look like?wildcats20;1857778 wrote:Cam Johnson has been cleared to play. -
wildcats20Berry
Williams
Pinson
Johnson
Brooks
Honestly, I'm not looking forward to the year. It could be a long year. Having Berry back is so unbelievably huge though. -
wildcats20I'll admit, I am really excited for Jalek Felton. I am pumped to see him alongside Berry at times. Luke Maye is a wildcard for me. I don't want him to start, because I don't think he can go 30ish minutes a game. He should be the 6th man.

I like that lineup, but I do think Roy will end up starting Maye. Hopefully I'm wrong and Johnson gets more minutes at the 4 than him.wildcats20;1857791 wrote:Berry

It sounds like everyone thinks Manley won't play much this year. Gonna rely a lot on Brooks/Huffman/Maye in the post. Below is kind of my best guess at how the lineup will look. I assume Rush will be given the 13th scholarship for the season.
PG - Berry/Woods
SG - Williams/Felton/Platek
SF - Pinson/Robinson/Rush
PF - Maye/Johnson
C - Brooks/Huffman/Manley
Obviously Johnson can play the 3 or even 2, and Brooks is actually more of a 4, but given the personnel available, I think it'll probably look something like that. Also excited about Felton and truly hope he passes up Williams at SG. -
Ironman92Louisville on 4 years probation for NCAA tournament and Pitino suspended 5 ACC games
-
Azubuike24The banner is going to come down too. I don't see a way they get around it given the definition the NCAA set forth. Any athletes involved from July 2010 to 2014 involved will have to be named to the NCAA and Louisville has 45 days to provide a list of all games any of those players participated in."
According to Katina Powell's book and testimony to the NCAA (which reportedly had photos with Chane Behannan), three players in the national title game (Behannan, Russ Smith and Montrezl Harrell) were involved in the receipt of illegal benefits. -
GOONx19Don't really care about the wins or the championship. The players picked Louisville and they won it on the court. After reading the findings, Pitino looks like a real loser for being angry about a 5 game suspension. Trying to tug a Jimmy V heartstrings is shitty too.

Pitino sounds like a pretty shitty human being all around.GOONx19;1859271 wrote:Don't really care about the wins or the championship. The players picked Louisville and they won it on the court. Will the NCAA try to erase Kevin Ware's broken leg from our memories too?GOONx19;1859271 wrote:Don't really care about the wins or the championship. The players picked Louisville and they won it on the court. -
Azubuike24Maybe isadore should weigh in on the ethics and morality of this one too? You know, something with actual substance to it.
