I agree with it being too much for college basketball. lol it's a 2 hour game, unless it's a massive tournament game $90 a piece totally isn't worth it, especially when you consider MSU is $30 to sit in the lower bowl and $22 to sit upSportsAndLady;1825984 wrote:Does it suck that your wife makes all the money in your family and won't share any of it with you? Can't go to a sports game because $90 is too much. Lol. -

$90 is cheaper than I expected.Classyposter58;1826150 wrote:I agree with it being too much for college basketball. lol it's a 2 hour game, unless it's a massive tournament game $90 a piece totally isn't worth it, especially when you consider MSU is $30 to sit in the lower bowl and $22 to sit up
Indiana has a ton of fans in Ft Wayne, and those guys NEVER get to see them in person. -

Is it hard to get IU basketball tickets? Like OSU football where going thru the school is impossibleLaley23;1826430 wrote:$90 is cheaper than I expected.

No, but Fort Wayne is 3 hours away.Classyposter58;1826504 wrote:Is it hard to get IU basketball tickets? Like OSU football where going thru the school is impossible -

Thats a long ass drive. Don't forget the amount of good games a basketball team plays, and the days. Indiana will play most weekdays/Sundays. A few Saturday, and they are early in afternoon.Classyposter58;1826535 wrote:Oh lol that's a lame excuse. Pony up and head to a game -
Laley23And that's without traffic.
My aunt lives in Ft wayne and tries to go to a game a year, but with gameday traffic it's 4 hours down there (maybe more if you hit Indy at 5) and 5+ back. There is 1 road in and out of Bloomington heading north towards Indy. -

Wow I didn't know that. I've never been to BloomingtonLaley23;1826537 wrote:And that's without traffic.

November is Native American Heritage Month. This is their jersey to recognize that. They did it last year as well.superman;1826752 wrote:Anybody have any idea what's going on with FSU's uniforms? -
MulvaMalik Monk's off balance catch/pass to Gabriel was awesome.
-
Azubuike24Never thought UK's back court would be better than last year. It is though. Monk and Fox have been unreal and Briscoe has gotten light years better.
-
GOONx19I can't believe they've only had one previous triple double.

If i was a Native American, wearing those ugly things in my honor would piss me off.wildcats20;1826755 wrote:November is Native American Heritage Month. This is their jersey to recognize that. They did it last year as well. -
Crimson streakI'm really surprised at how decent ND is. Granted they haven't really played anyone good. But I thought this year would be a set back year. There size down low will really be there down fall this year though

Ironman92Tough atmosphere for UNC

Laley23Indiana with 2 huge non-con wins. I have a feeling those are going to go really far in March. Fort Wayne game is tough, but take care of business in the B1G, and that game will be an afterthought.

Agreed. It's a bad loss, but one that didn't stick around.Ironman92;1827110 wrote:It already is IMO
Also, Carolina played like total garbage. IU was great at times and really good the rest of the way. They are going to be a tough, tough out come March.
I was really disappointed in Roy in the first half. He never calls timeouts, which doesn't usually bother me, but last night was so bad. They couldn't guard a grandma and he just let them get down by 18 at one point. [emoji35] -

I honestly didnt care much when it happened. Fort Wayne is fucking good. WOn their conference last year, added more talent, and should run away with it again this year. South Dakota State has the leagues best player in Mike Daum, but Fort Wayne has way more depth and should be dancing...and potentially win a game.Ironman92;1827110 wrote:It already is IMO -

Losses suck, but I think Crean can use that loss to IPFW the rest of the season as a bit of motivation even when things are going well. Maybe next year they will go with IUPUI instead......Laley23;1827106 wrote:Indiana with 2 huge non-con wins. I have a feeling those are going to go really far in March. Great win last night and just shows that they do have the talent to be a legit contender.
As much as I love BK, he and IU need to kiss and make up. I have a bad feeling that he passes on before it ever happens and it will be a total shame. -

Drives me insane! His stubborn ass refuses to change. Not calling timeouts and constantly helping off shooters because "a three is a lower percentage shot than a two" are a couple things about Roy that just piss me off.wildcats20;1827128 wrote:

Carolina should have a good year, but I think they'll end up struggling a little against the better teams on their schedule. Might be very dangerous by the end of the season though. -
wildcats20Like I said, I don't usually mind the no timeouts. It's how I was coached, it's how I coached my teams. But when you get down 18 and at the time showed no ability to stop anyone, it was time. Thankfully, they stepped up in the 2nd half and really had a chance to steal it. They just couldn't get over the hump of playing a really good team on their home floor.

Personally, I don't understand the lack of timeouts at all. Yeah, you want your team to learn to play through tough situations and execute, but when they're clearly rattled and getting their ass kicked, you have to stop the momentum. If you get down by 18 (or let's say 40-12 in the Final Four), you have very little chance of coming back against a high quality opponent. Roy is a great coach, but this is one thing that I just will never agree with.wildcats20;1827239 wrote:Like I said, I don't usually mind the no timeouts.
