Freshman Jarron Cumberland of Wilmington getting it done to get UC the lead. He's brother in law to one of my former students.

WTF? I know women's basketball is beyond trash but watching bottom line it said #19 VT was losing to unranked Virginia 70-23 lol
  • wildcats20
    And lost 76-27

This game is delivering. Intense rivalry to say the least.

Bad charge call...he pulled up early to avoid charge and once defender was set he moved up under the shooter as he was coming down.

Unfortunately, they will be just fine. They're too talented not to get it together soon.

They'll probably be a dumpster fire until they play UNC

Yep, they'll be the best team in the country on that night. You can take that to the bank.

It's time to put Crean out of his misery.

    This. Good lord this.

Unfortunately they cant really fire him. He has 2 B1G titles in the last 3 years (4 if you count this season). Lost a ton to injury this year, which is a built in excuse (Hartman, OG, Morgan).

I think he needs to go, and believe the next guys would really do well there as Crean has been great for the program getting it back on its feet and not getting any sanctions etc put on them. I just don't think they get rid of him.

Who do they hire anyway? Gregg Marshall is about the only guy I feel comfortable being able to be better than Crean for sure, and a few I think could very well be worse. Brad Stevens aint leaving Boston. So, you go after Marshall and he says no? Then what?

That's one of the can't miss games of the year right there annually. It's pretty obvious that those two teams flat out don't like each other

Do you continue to put money into a losing investment because you're scared you don't have anywhere else to put it?

Injuries killed IU, but it's not like this is the first time this kind of slide has happened. I can think of 2 or 3 other times where the fanbase was done with Crean.

What about Archie Miller? Chris Holtmann? Marshall is worth contacting. Also, you're Indiana. You claim to be a blueblood program and a top tier job. You have to figure that coaches, even at other power 5 schools, will listen if you want to talk.

Frank Martin and Chris Collins, I wonder if these two would both consider, if IU had any interest. I'm sure there are other names, but geez, it's Indiana...

Indiana is a blue blood bball program, saying they "can't" fire someone who is bringing them conference championships only is just wrong lol. They can and they should.

I think part of it is also...Indiana isn't quite REALLY a blueblood program. When it comes down to it, they aren't really above the level of those big money schools like Texas, Ohio State, Florida, etc...who don't have the tradition, but certainly can be players when it comes to paying a coach.

I am not usually a fan of firing the coach. Didnt get to see the game last night but to lose by 30........are the players giving up? If the players have lost faith in the team and coach then the have an enormous problem. Will OG come back next year after his injury or if promised/projected to get drafted next year will he take a chance and leave?

To say they cannot fire him because of the recent success I think is a little short sighted. If the general concensus of those around and in the program that he has lost the faith of the players then that could be the last bullet. Wont be in season, that is for sure.

I dont think they fire him without putting feelers out to some guys they would want and see if they were even be interested

I give TC credit for what he has done in the shitty situation he had to start in but man I am leaning in that direction that maybe he needs to go. Whom do you get? I dont know, but the program is in a much better spot now and much more attractive than it was when he took the job.

I know Alford wont come back, nor am I promoting that he should, but I am glad to see him doing well at UCLA. Been following his stops since Manchester and was curious if he could do well out there and glad that he has.

Did anyone see the Utah player run Dillon Brooks over like a fullback?

No but I did see Dillon Brooks commit the biggest, most asinine flop in the history of the world.

I hear that Coach K called him and offered him a schollie. Said he could even go in the locker room and wear a Blue Devil T-shirt after perfecting the signature duke defense.

Indiana is absolutely a blue blood program lol part of what makes them is their tradition
