Ironman92I think SFA is going to need more than the 1 timeout they have left
-
Ironman92Damn...Walkup should've cleared that loose ball out. That was big
-
SportsAndLadyThat was not a foul

Ironman92I think Walkup not clearing that loose ball may be the difference in this. Had 5 point lead and ball and shot clock just started with 1:30 left...lose it and 3 point lead with 1:25. The break ND needed and hustled to get.

gutsweet....I needed that game (lol, I need them all!)

Ironman92SFA blew it twice with a 1:30 left and then an immediate 3 point shot the next possession.
Not smart.
ND advances -
gutNDU got mugged on the first put-back, and then the tip-prayer. Would have been interesting if they call the foul - on the line down 1 with maybe 4-5 seconds left.

Lol no dude. The refs didn't favor SFA...if they did, they wouldn't call so many fouls on SFA's best player.Crimson streak;1788135 wrote:Make up calls from all the other hacks they've had all game.

reclegend22Another great game. Hoped for an SFA win, just to see a 14 alive in the second weekend and also because Mike Brey is on my hate list, but what a finish by the Irish. This month is delivering.
-
reclegend22The ACC is now 11-1, I believe, in the NCAAs. That is remarkable.

Can't believe people were complaining about all the upsets on Thursday/Friday lol these games have been so awesomereclegend22;1788145 wrote:Another great game. When 4 of your top 7 lose in Round 1 to lower seeds, you need to stop trying to claim the title of best conference in the country.SportsAndLady;1788096 wrote:Who's justifying that?
This conversation happens every year. A conference goes 7-2 through the first week and everyone creams over the conference. The other conferences hover around .500 and everyone says they suck.
Fact is, most conferences have a top team, maybe two. They rise to the elite eight, the other teams lose at some point. If they have good first and second round matchups, that conference will look better than others with not-so-good matchups.
Those facts don't make me change my mind and say that 5 months of a regular season is meaningless and that a conference that was clearly the top (this year the big 12) is now an embarrassment because their 6th best team lost in an 8/9 game. -
Ironman92Oklahoma looks better in every facet of the games versus VCU.

Yeah, that's just stupid. The first weekend of this tournament is what it is because of the giant killer. That's why people who don't watch college basketball all year long fill out brackets and follow the games as if they're lifelong fans of the sport. The idea that too many upsets will ruin the tournament is ridiculous. The teams that deserve to win will win.SportsAndLady;1788147 wrote:Can't believe people were complaining about all the upsets on Thursday/Friday lol these games have been so awesome -
Ironman92What a dumb shit

Lol. Did you read any of my post? You're a complete fucking moron if you rank conferences based on the first 4 days of the post season tournament.superman;1788148 wrote:When 4 of your top 7 lose in Round 1 to lower seeds, you need to stop trying to claim the title of best conference in the country.
What happens if Kansas and Oklahoma both make the Final Four? Will you then immediately change your opinion? -

That's like superman. Guy turns on the tv for March madness and decides who the best conference is.reclegend22;1788150 wrote:people who don't watch college basketball all year long -

I didn't watch much this season (seems to be less and less important each year for whatever reasons)...probably caught most of the team's about twice.SportsAndLady;1788153 wrote:That's like superman. Guy turns on the tv for March madness and decides who the best conference is.
Parity is strong and each year the "lesser knows" care less and less about going up against the big boys. I don't have a favorite conference. If WVU lays an egg I don't think their conference mates 1500 miles away are weaker. The PAC 12 has been bad enough I can feel those conference teams might be overrated but Oregon can change that a bit. I have to at least see the whole tournament.
