Tuscaloosa Rednecks vs a Guy Named Dabo

fish82There's no credible way to justify Stanford over OSU.
None. -
TiernanDoes it really matter? If fucking scUM doesn't fumble the punt and runs the table until OSU kicks their ass we get in even with the loss to MSU. Nos. 3 or 4 is no fucking difference. If you don't make it into the Playoffs you may as well be Purdue or Colorado State...it just fucking doesn't matter. Worst CFB season in history IMO...There is no question in anybody's mind at the end of the season OSU was the best team in the nation, Saban knows it. Dabo knows it. Every idiot on ESPN knows it. But we get fucked because 12 DBs sitting in some hotel conf room decide to "punish" us because of our schedule which was made 6 - 7 yrs ago. A travesty of unparalelled magnitude. Not going to get over this easily.

This season effectively tells CFB that you need to win your conference in order to be considered for the playoffs.Tiernan;1775317 wrote:Does it really matter? Not saying it shouldn't be that way, but if a non-champion ever gets in, OSU fans will have good reason to grumble. -

The only people that think OSU is the best team in the nation is buckeye fans, and the schedule was made out 6 or seven years ago, really? Hawaii and western michigan were added in 2013. but i guess when OSU scheduled them they were elite programs?Tiernan;1775317 wrote:Does it really matter? Do we need to list Florida State's OOC games again? And they play in the ACC, probably the worst conference in the country.KnightRyder;1775474 wrote:The only people that think OSU is the best team in the nation is buckeye fans, and the schedule was made out 6 or seven years ago, really? AutomatikYou act like an SEC school would be willing to strike a deal with OSU.
I'd LOVE a home and home with a top SEC team....won't happen though. -

Well, one does have to find some straws to cling to after getting schooled by a former OSU assistant in a bowl game one year after getting humiliated by an Oregon team that couldn't match up to OSU, while "boasting" a head coach who goes by "Jimbo". In other words, you guys had a nice run, enjoy falling to mediocrity and being a forgotten former power much like Penn State.KnightRyder;1775602 wrote:last time i checked , FSU schedules a sec school every season, when was the last time OSU did such a thing 80 what? in the last 3 games vs an ACC opponent OSU is 1-2 -

thats because OSU wont sign a home and home deal. the problem is OSU doesnt want to schedule a sec opponentAutomatik;1775606 wrote:You act like an SEC school would be willing to strike a deal with OSU.

So Alabama would be willing to come to Columbus? GTFO.
Also, OSU travels to Oklahoma next year. The reining Big 12 champ. -

Thy haven't played an SEC team(other than Florida, other than a bowl game) since 2007.
But you probably don't remember that far back. -
KnightRyder
do you remember the last time OSU played a sec school during the season? was woody hayes still on the sidelines?wildcats20;1775629 wrote:Yes, in 2 years.

OSU is a top 2 football program in the country. Plain and simple. -

It's a tired argument. OSU plays as good as if not better than most schools in the country.Automatik;1775616 wrote:You are completely full of shit.

Any time someone says otherwise, ask what team they root for and 99% of the the time their schedule will be as bad or worse. FSU lost to Houston LOL. -

or a 3-9 team.wildcats20;1775642 wrote:At least they didn't lose to Houston.
I'll say it again. I would LOVE to see Buckeye Nation invade Tuscaloosa and in return have Bama come to Columbus, but it will never happen.
I actually feel dumb for engaging in this. Same shit, different day. Dumbass geriatrics popping off like they know wtf they are talking about.
