"The College Football Playoff selection committee is taking the necessary measures to ensure Navy's success doesn't complicate bowl season. The final College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings are scheduled to be released on Dec. 6, however, should Navy win the American Athletic Conference (AAC), the selection committee will wait until after the Army-Navy game on Dec. 12 to release all the rankings, according to a statement obtained by USA TODAY.
The Midshipmen's final game of the season counts towards their yearly evaluation, but happens after Selection Sunday.
If Navy wins the AAC, it will head to the conference championship game and join a group of six candidates for the Group of Five slot in the CFP New Year's Six. ..."

Do you think he'll actually play? I'd have to imagine that even if he is back to full strength, not playing all year makes him a liability (see: Keivarae Russell throughout most of this season). And if Jerry Tillery played well enough to get you there, why take him out? I guess it would be nice to have him in case something happens. But I'd rather they just get him ready for his 5th year next year and figure out a way to get him and Tillery on the field at the same time.

Seeing the weather reports can you guys imagine if tomorrow's game was in Lansing? Calling for 5-8" of snow up there tomorrow

Calling for rain and wind in Columbus tomorrow. Gotta run the fuck out of the ball.

Imagine how much he could get if they lost a close game against USC.

That can only favor the team that has the best RB in the country.

I'm going to Happy Valley tomorrow. It's about a 6hr drive from Western Ohio, so we're leaving about 3am. It's supposed to FEEL like 39 tomorrow at kick off. That's just fantastic.

I wonder if we'll see some snow for the game next week

Only been by it. But looks like a cool place to see a game. Absolutely nothing around it for miles though. In BFE.

I gotta think d line is a little different than cb. I think he could make an impact as he will be cleared to practice here in the next week or so. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have him in the rotation

Fyi, there must only be one road into happy valley. I've been twice and traffic is always terrible getting in.

Ohio State fans definitely not disappointing with their signs at GameDay today. Some seriously funny ones today.
  • Azubuike24
Buckeyes big favorites. I've seen the line all the way up to -14.5 today.

If their shitty win over Vanderbilt two weeks ago, and their shitty win over South Carolina last week, wasn't enough to convince people that Florida is fucking garbage...they are currently in a 0-0 tie with Florida Atlantic AT HALFTIME! How the shit is that team #8 in the country right now?
  • SportsAndLady
Florida is trash. But they have a good record and play in the SEC. That's the equation that equals top 10.

Great D. Good offensive line. Talented backs. A few explosive playmakers at WR. Absolutely garbage QB. They are definitely not good with Treon Harris. That's why Alabama is virtually a lock. The only teams who can beat Bama are teams who can limit their big plays and actually put up points. Auburn and Florida don't fit that bill...the exact opposite. It's similar to Missouri last year.

Yeah dude where have you been the last few years? The SEC East is the worst division in the country.

All those great players but 14-14 against 2-8 Florida Atlantic? Sorry, Florida is trash.

Florida survived in OT. FSU might destroy them.
  • Ironman92
Florida losing ground but as long as they win each game left it won't matter as they'll be top 4 if no big 12 or Iowa go undefeated ....I can run my chops because it'll never happen
