Blood diamonds. Urban Meyer forced the poor folks of Sierra Leone to mine these diamonds to be used for the rings. Harbaugh would never do such a thing!!

49ers guard Alex Boone says former coach Jim Harbaugh "pushed guys too far" & "might be clinically insane."

I don't think Harbaugh is a good college coach, clinically insane or not. He won't beat Ohio State and you can take that to the bank.

You see that at times with very demanding coaches in pro sports where players start to tune you out after hearing and going through it year after year. Good fit in college though as you can do that to the players as they are gone in a few years. By the time they start to get fed up with it they are done gone!

Not only that, coaches have limited time/contact with college kids. Pros..its 24/7. That being said, I don't think anyone can quesiton Harbaugh as a coach. The guy was highly successful in college and the pros.

    True.
and college kids look up to the coaches more than pro's generally do, and almost basically become their second father. Pro players know they can buy and sell many of the coaches.
College kids pretty much depend on that HC for playing time and if there is a conflict...the coach is going to win.
Pro sports...conflict between the best player and coach? You better be a top tier coach as that may lead to you losing the team and getting canned.

Boone actually stood up for Harbaugh when there was first talk of getting rid of him. Went so far as to say he was like a brother to him. Then Harbaugh went to Michigan and he suddenly changed his tune.
  • Automatik
Hence the phrase "wore out his welcome."

He said he would succeed at Michigan.

How many times did Harbaugh win the Pac-10? How many times did he beat Oregon?

What is he supposed to say? "I hate Harbaugh, hope he gets fired". LOL.

Sure. Have you never changed your opinion on someone after working with them for a time? I've had it happen multiple times with my superiors.

He wasn't even knocking Harbaugh, but of course the ESPN spins the article like that and you ate it up.
  • WebFire
You are fucking retarded. The person who posted this made fun of Harbaugh and Michigan. But I'M the one who ate it up. You are the worst kind. Go fuck yourself.

I'd expect this from a hold out ***** like Boone. Let's just look at his whiny comments.
“I think he just pushed guys too far. He wanted too much, demanded too much, expected too much. You know, ‘We gotta go out and do this. We gotta go out and do this. We gotta go out and do this.’ And you’d be like, ‘This guy might be clinically insane. He’s crazy.’
Oh, you poor baby. You get paid millions to play a sport but don't want to have to work to much. Someone get this guy a tissue.
He just keeps pushing you, and you’re like, ‘Dude, we got over the mountain. Stop. Let go.’
Someone remind this douche that winning the Super Bowl is the mountain in the NFL. Guy clearly doesn't want to work for that.

    I'm eating this shit up.

I was referring to the ESPN article.
