So how many Buckeyes are drafted in the 1st round? I've got 6(in order of likelihood):

    Bosa
    Decker
    Zeke
    Thomas
    Washington
    Lee

Bennett, Apple and Von Bell will be 3rd or higher. Cardale and Powell between 3rd/4th round. Marshall, 5th round pick at best.

You think Zeke will be a 1st rounder?

Think he's generally projected to go between 20 and 30.

He'll be the first RB taken. Usually someone goes with a RB first round.

Absolutely without question. Lee and Washington are the only ? to me but I think they are both high quality players who will make a strong impact at the next level. I'd love to see Lee in Cleveland with the 32nd pick.

My guess is someone like the Patriots will take him.

That would be better for him!

Any clue on who's going to be the RB next year? Our offense is going to struggle a bit without a solid RB like Zeek to carry our blemishes in the passing game.
I'd think Curtis Samuel, however reading that Weber has really impressed coaches.

Both him and Cardale looked average at best this year because of a trash OC and then it made you wonder if they were good QBs or if they just had a good OC. I hope there is competition next year for the starting spot instead of just handing it to JT because he's been here longer.
I think JT proved as a RS Freshman that he had the football smarts and ability, the difference between last season and this season was an OC that was willing to take chances downfield and the fact that JT was never allowed to get in a rhythm this season sharing snaps with Cardale and then not allowing to start until over midway thru the season. He should be a stud the next two seasons.

Elflein could technically go, but I doubt he does. He'll likely move to center and be an AA again.

Thought he said after the Michigan game that he was coming back?

Jalin would have been smarter to come back and be the featured offensive talent in next year's offense. This is a poor choice by him and he's getting bad advice.
Agreed. This time next year he'll be back hanging out on Grand Ave.

I thought if you aren't actually drafted - you can come back. Is that wrong?

    never has been right.

Once you declare, you are ineligible for NCAA athletics.

The NBA system has some nuances where you can opt out before the draft, but once your name is in the draft, even if you don't get drafted, you are now a professional.

    Thanks for the clarification.

I thought it was only if you signed with an agent that meant you forfeited amateur status

I was just answering your question as I interpreted it, which may be I interpreted it wrong. I thought you were asking who else was eligible and a possible draft pick, which if Elflein declared he'd definitely get drafted. I did not mean that he was a possibility to go pro. Sorry for the confusion, I misunderstood what you were asking.

No worries. I was just saying I didn't think anyone else was considering.
