Not condescending in any way. Pretentious, however...

Kareem Walker, #1 RB, who de-commited from OSU, just committed to Michigan.

$10 says he will be 0-4 against Ohio State is his career. Obviously, he is more interested in playing immediately than actually winning games. At OSU, he wouldn't sniff the field until he's a sophomore or junior at best.
  • Coach_08
^^ I will take that bet, that he does not go 0-4 against ohio st.

That's a good call. He'll probably go 0-3 before he opts to leave the program for greener pastures in the NFL.

Jimmy Hardballs ain't losing the next 4 straight to OSU that's lock-city money right there. In fact I think this Walker kid is sniffing a change in the football trade winds.

0-3 until he goes pro. Michigan is not beating Ohio State; not with Urban there at least.

42-13 is a sign of things to come.

Harbaugh is an overrated coach. He got Lucky in getting Andrew Luck, a stellar academic star, to go to a prestigious school that he probably would have gone to anyway. Then, that star carries him to some successs in college and then to an NFL job; where he really was once again carried by the #1 defense in the NFL to a Super Bowl loss. He's actually never won anything relevant in his entire career yet somehow he is the savior of Michigan football.

42-13. It's a much better bet that Harbaugh won't even be the coach in 4 years.

If Harbaugh leaves in 4 years, it won't be because he's not winning. It will be because he's worn out his welcome. He tends to do that. He goes from being a Super Bowl coach to out the door a year later? It sounds like he's kind of a pain in the ass to deal with.

I agree. After losing to OSU 42-41 in '13 and 42-28 in '14 (in a game that was close for most of the way) when OSU was a top 10 team and Michigan was pretty weak, this year's 42-13 margin when both teams were pretty equally ranked REALLY says things are getting super-tight as far as how the teams are right now. Great deduction!

Well, in fairness to Harbaugh, San Fran is run by complete idiots who seem dangerously unqualified to run anything, let alone something involving as much $$$ as a football team.

It appears I have to spread some reputation around before giving it to heretic again.

If Hoke was still the coach Michigan would have won 6 or 7 games tops, good recruiter but not a good leader. Harbaugh gets 9 with pretty much Hokes recruits. That just shows Harbaugh can coach, is he a little off? Yes! But kids love to play for him and in college they are only there a few years and then off to the pros. To say Harbaugh is over rated is straight stupid. Urban is a good coach and he walked into a much better situation because Tressell could recruit and Urban was fortunate, so that is why Urban is ahead right now with comparing the two schools. In another 2-3 years you can start comparing.

I have no doubt Michigan will be able to routinely beat the Nebraska's and Indiana's of the world season in and season out under Harbaugh.

However, I do not see him ever being able to consistently beat Dantonio and Meyer. So while Michigan will notch 9-10 wins a year, none of them will be meaningful.

That's just retarded. Calling urban a good coach is an insult. Guy won multiple national titles before coming to osu. He didn't just win with tressel's recruits.

And like people have already said, we'll compare Harbaugh and Urban if Harbaugh is even still the coach. My money is on him never beating osu, never making the playoffs, and pissing off the UM people...leading to his firing.

If Hoke can't coach, how did they go 11-2 in 2011?

Personally I don't think Harbaugh is over rated. They did fine their first year. Now let's see if he can do better next year. They have a pretty good recruiting class this year.

Agree, It's not like Urban didn't win a lot of games at Bowling Green and Utah before winning multiple national titles at Florida.

I don't doubt he will piss people of at Michigan and I agree he has yet to do what Urban has done, but I would not be shocked if Harbaugh could pull off a win or two against OSU or MSU before he leaves. I just read that Michigan now has the #1 recruiting class for next year.

This post makes me think Harbaugh will never beat OSU. If there's one thing I know, when Tiernan says somethings a lock you can almost guarantee the opposite will happen.
