Yeah but that offense is trash. 59 points against a top 15 team? Garbage.

Alabama is no slouch, but comments like "good enough" are complete shit. Ohio State is a better team than Alabama and you can take that to the bank.

I really have no idea what to expect for this game

This. As article states below, this team gave up over 300yds passing the last 4 games of the year.

If Barrett was the QB, OSU wins this one hands down.

With this newguy....not so sure. It was impressive what he did in the BTC game, but what happens when he actually has time to think about the brevity of the game. The extra time will help, no doubt, his physical part of the game but will the extra time to think about it get to him? This last start he really had no time to think about how big of a game he was playing in, and now he does.

I would expect Tim Tebow to emerge as the coach.

Pac-12 refs for the game. Yikes.

    I don't get the yikes.

Widely regarded as the worst refs in college football. Routinely fuck up terribly. Remember ASU-Wisco last year with the clock snafu?

I watch a ton of Pac-12 football so just trust me when I say yikes. However, if you're more of the "I gotta see it for myself" type, just google "Pac-12 ref mistakes"

I watch Pac-12 games from time to time just cause they are normally on super late and I will definitely agree that the Pac-12 refs are awful. It really is amazing how much they miss/mess up. Also a lot of their refs annoy me when they announce the call.

Don't they use 1 less official also?

Alabama is going to need all the help it can get to even come close this game. I say give them SEC refs and we can call the game somewhat even.

Maybe they'll be homers for their conference and give OSU most of the calls so Oregon doesn't have to face the might Bama

I thought Urban didn't allow blue shirts in his presence while on campus?

That's because the high school system out west is not nearly what it is in the Midwest and South. You get the cream of a pretty good crop that rise through the HS ranks here, get contracted by the B1G and the SEC and usually go on to do a pretty competent job. Out west where football is not nearly what it is here the field is much worse to choose from and as a result so are the refs.

Here in Ohio I had to do a 2 year probationary period where I could only ref less than varsity games before getting my Class 1 license, I think in some states out west there isn't even one. Also in most of those states 8 man football is pretty common so you have quite a few guys not even doing full 11/11 games. I know in Cali fees are ridiculous too, here its only $50 a year to renew your license while there is $125

Not game related, but do the players that graduated today register for Winter semester to be eligible for the NCG should the Bucks make it? Do they just register then drop out if they aren't interested in a graduate program?

No need to, as it's just considered an extension of the season, so all eligibility statuses remain intact

Urban & Nick, the two best college football coaches in the country. Period.
