Why would you quote him? WhyyyyyyyIronman92;1683909 wrote:Yeah....if Bama won 31-28, Oregon won 48-26 and then Bama beat Oregon 31-28 it would be earth-shattering to the Big 10
If anything, you should have quoted all of his posts saying the B1G sucks and it would be impossible for them to get a team in the playoffs. -
SportsAndLadyAnyone planning on heading to the game?

No and no. Not that its an excuse or should be used as one. But OSU is going into this game with their 3rd string QB. If it was Miller or JT and OSU gets drilled..yes, it may be devastating. Devastating if a close, competitive game? No. A blowout could be viewed as devastating as someone like Mark May will be on the air saying "I told you so". Expectations are obviously very high with OSU. But coming into this year, after losing Miller and replacing MANY starters from last year, I am not sure many picked OSU to be here. After the VT loss, many were predicting 3 loss season. Then the loss of JT? THink about it. Biggest game in history? No, its not. This program is set to be in the final four next year and beyond. People forget, this is a very young team. Probably a year away as a legit favorite to win it all. This season, when you think about everything, is really a surprise with how this team ended up.IggyPride00;1683905 wrote:Possibly the biggest game in Buckeye history.
A loss would be completely devastating given the overall perception of the conference and our recent history in big games. -
sleeperHaving Jones is no longer a valid excuse. He absolutely shredded Wisconsin; the top defense in the B1G on his first career start.
We should beat Alabama by 2 TDs. -
AutomatikIt's the biggest game in RECENT history and it's not even debatable.
Beat them and all of the haters and pundits can shut their collective mouths. Get our ass beat and we are who everyone thought we were....3rd string QB or not.
If we perform in the the trenches like last Saturday, I'm confident they can get it done. Of course, that's a big if. -

People said the same thing about Oregon, Arkansas, etc. and when we won nothing changed. It was still "B1G sucks, SEC = NFL".Automatik;1683989 wrote:It's the biggest game in RECENT history and it's not even debatable.

AutomatikYou are dead on. I'm seeing Big 12 whiners talk about us getting waxed in recent bowls, "never beat anyone" blah blah.
Of course, no mention of Oregon or Arkansas. Selective memory at it's finest. -

The B12 is largely irrelevant with Texas and Oklahoma being at best SEC East champions. I mean seriously TCU and Baylor would get waxed to hell in any other conference and shit tier schools at best.Automatik;1683995 wrote:You are dead on. Sparty is going to lay a beat down on Baylor. MSU will have its third string in at half time and still win by 5 TDs.Automatik;1684002 wrote:My friend thinks Briles will "want to score 100" against Sparty. LOL -

My second favorite part of yesterday, obviously behind OSU getting in, was finding out MSU gets to play Baylor. If there's going to be a team that exposes Baylor, it should be MSU.Automatik;1684002 wrote:My friend thinks Briles will "want to score 100" against Sparty. LOL -

He signed up weeks ago and had to put down a deposit. If they didn't make it, I believe he was out around $125. I don't know how he was offered to sign up, possibly due to being an OSU alum.Classyposter58;1684013 wrote:How! -

Joey Galloway thinks it was the easiest draw of the other 3. I'm not agreeing on that but I do think it beats playing OR.vball10set;1683639 wrote:Waiting for Tearnan's thoughts  -

1. Please go further with the etc. The 2011 Gator Bowl? Go ahead and say OSU was bad that season but they had the same record as Florida going into it. The location? The PTB didn't care when they accepted the bowl bid. Last years bowl game against Clemson too?sleeper;1683994 wrote:People said the same thing about Oregon, Arkansas, etc. and when we won nothing changed. It was still "B1G sucks, SEC = NFL".
2. What does a win over Oregon have to do with "SEC=NFL"? -

wildcats20Except they will be white. Not sure why Nike did the scarlet concept. But it also has black numbers on the shoulders.
Alabama is wearing their crimson unis. -
rrfanBig 10 has a huge bowl season ahead. 10 teams in games and I want everyone of them to win! Need to get some credibility back in the conference and MSU and OSU have big time games that will be very closely watched by all the "Mark May" OSU haters.

Not necessarily. Alabama could choose to be the away team and wear their whites. Don't know why they'd do that though.wildcats20;1684443 wrote:Except they will be white.
