    Remember '07 against Florida? We were wearing our away Whites even though we were the #1 team. We chose the away accommodations (hotel, travel, etc.) because that was what Tressel's previous teams did when playing in Phoenix.

    I agree it's stupid. But you're right we're wearing our Whites this year, 'Bama has already said they're wearing the Crimsons. I didn't realize that when I typed my post.

    No idea but probably. Even the uniform "rules" aren't enforced. Arizona's gradient numbering was prohibited last year but we were granted an exemption but then kept using them this year because no one is going to penalize them.

    Neither am I.

    I know NFL teams have exercised the option from time to time. Think that Jags chose to wear their whites at home vs the steelers so they would have to wear their blacks because of the heat.
    In the SB the steelers chose the whites that one season after winning 3 road games to get to the SB.

    Not really sure how much that actually matters nowadays with the technologies. Maybe mythbusters could figure it out...

    ??? Alabama is not that great. OSU can absolutely beat the fuck out of them and no doubt in my mind they will.

    No, I'm pretty sure all four teams are going in with a "win one and we got this!" mindset. Whatever the championship game is, will be underwhelming when both teams are dragged out there not sure exactly why they have to be on a football field.

    That seems pretty stupid. I am pretty sure thsoe football players have been in a playoff of some sort before either in HS football or another sport and can grasp the whole thing.
