RotinajNothing after the top 8 matters. They are the only teams that don't need miracles.
-
sleeperIt wouldn't surprise me at all if OSU drops a few after the win against a clearly overrated MSU team.
-
slingshot4everOSU still needs help. We can't conpete with one loss teams in the rankings.
FSU, MSU/Bama, Oregon/ASU, Baylor/TCU are probably your 4 teams in the playoff -
Fly4FunWhy is everyone just accepting that Bama should be top 4?
Because SEC? -

i said MSU/Bama....they play eachother next weekend...and yes, winner of that game deserves top 4Fly4Fun;1672649 wrote:Why is everyone just accepting that Bama should be top 4?

After LSU drops out, they will have zero wins over any ranked teams.Fly4Fun;1672649 wrote:Why is everyone just accepting that Bama should be top 4?

slingshot4everUnless they beat MSU next week...
-
lakeflyerMikeBama has their elimination game next week, lose to MSU and their season is over

Did you even watch last nights game? (Probably went to bed right before kickoff because OSU had no shot against the mighty Spartans) OSU proved they are a way different team then when JT Barrett was 2 games into a season he wasn't expecting to play in. They're a playoff team if they win out. Book it -

Please tell us, again, how the B1G wasn't going to let OSU win that game. Please do. It was such an enlightening story. -
ptown_trojans_11. Miss St.
2. FSU
3. Oregon
4. Bama (sigh)
5. TCU
6. Baylor (even with the head to head, I think the body of work of TCU will be better)

8. OSU
9. Auburn
10. Ole Miss
11. Nebraska -

Baylor jumping 6 spots with a top 15 win and Arizona state only 2 with a top 10 win?ptown_trojans_1;1672671 wrote:1. Miss St.

You valuing the road/home factor a little more than I would? -

Don't be that guy. You know OSU needs a lot of help to get in. A win against Michigan State is not going to catapult OSU into the playoffs especially since The Spartans blew it against the only other good team they played.SportsAndLady;1672667 wrote:Did you even watch last nights game? The truth is FSU, Oregon, MSU /Alabama are all win and your in. The last spot is up for grabs but TCU, Baylor, and Arizona State all need to lose for OSU to get in.
You can make excuses all you want but a loss to a terrible Virginia Tech team is almost insurmountable to overcome even though I think OSU would have a shot to beat any team. -
rydawg5If Nebraska can win out that will be another top 8 victory. That would put us over big 12 teams

I think who you lost to will play a larger role than who you beat. VT is below .500 and could possibly not even be in a bowl game.rydawg5;1672686 wrote:If Nebraska can win out that will be another top 8 victory. That would put us over big 12 teams

What happens if Alabama barely beats MSU? Would MSU stay top 4?
