    To me, it "sounds" like it could be an eligibility thing.

    Not sure it could be grade wise. Or he'd have been gone sooner

    I'm talking like benefits or something.

    And, of course, I have no inside info or anything like that. Just kind of reading between the lines.

    Still don't think its that serious of an issue. He is still practicing with the team and Matta said he expects him back sooner, rather than later.

    Could be like what happened with the Indiana kids. They were suspended by the school pending an investigation for getting backpacks at a summer event. They could practice and do everything, but didn't play in case the investigation found something ruling them ineligible.

    Eventually it was nothing, but this has a very similar feel...hopefully the same results if that's the case.

    Rutgers is smelly.

    Rutgers = awful.

    Russell = amazing
  • centralbucksfan
    Bucks off to good start. UP 24-12. Russell is just sick..as in good. I don't think there is a better player in the country.
  • Terry_Tate
    Russell with 17-5-6... with 2:51 left in the first half.

    Love that KBD is finally getting more minutes and is looking really good today.
  • Terry_Tate
    Triple double for Russell. Helps that Rutgers is terrible but still impressive.

    First trip double since ET

    I think he is going to be very good before its all said and done. 6'8", with a 7'2" wingspan, able to step out and hit the 3. He is still thinking a bit too much on the court, and needs to get stronger. Excited to watch him for the next few years.

    Have Scott, Thompson, and Williams checked out completely? Amir had 2 late dunks to enhance their combined stats. These seniors were:5/16 from the field,2/6 at the free throw line,0/3 behind the arc with 10 rebounds and 4 assists. They also had 6 turnovers.

    I didn't expect a lot from these guys, but I certainly expected more than they are giving. They need to reach deep down and start contributing the way seniors should.They should be embarrassed.

    Woah. That's u g l y

    I'm really disappointed in Thompson's game. I figured he would continue improving as a shooter and really come into his own, yet he never really did. Russell is amazing though, really excited to watch him next weekend in Lansing, the guy may be the #1 pick

    The way things are rolling right now, I'm already eying a Kentucky vs Ohio State in a 1/4 regional semi-final in Cleveland. Exact same scenario as four years ago, roles reversed.

    Ohio State won't sniff a 4 seed. Better chance of a 1-8 matchup. If Amir was worth a damn I'd be excited about that matchup but Kentucky is too tough inside.
  • Laley23
    Im shocked AZ thought they would be a 4 lol. I'm pretty sure like 2 weeks ago most had them out of the NCAAs.

    Could be a 5. What games do they lose? I think they might lose 2 more, but they are still at 22 or 23 wins when it is all over. Who on their schedule is any good besides Wisconsin?

    Thompson biggest disappointed of the 3 IMO. His athleticism is off the chart. His skills have not gotten much better at all, in 4yrs. I guess he peaked and hit his ceiling. Great kid by all accounts who works hard. But to still have habits like leaving his feet and no where to go at this stage...unacceptable.
    Never been that high on Scott. But thought he would have a better senior year. Of course, Russell has pretty much taken over the pt position. And Scott isn't a 2.
    Williams, well, is Williams. Disappointing and just doesn't have "it" at all.
    All 3 great young men from what I hear. But they just didnt' develop like we/many thought.

    OSU has to go to Mich St. and UM yet. They also play Wisky last game of the year. That could easily be 3 losses. THey have PSU twice, Neb and Purdue left. All games they "should" win. But going to PSU, who knows. A place OSU traditionally has not played well at.
    Loving is the key here. If he is back, that will help. If not, they could finish at 4-3 at best IMO. That would leave them at 22-9 going into conf. tourney.

    A 4 seed with only a few quality wins, no great ones? I don't see that at all.

    Who is any good? Hmm...MSU/UM are decent. Purdue playing well. I mean all teams that are better than Florida. A team that took mighty UK to the wire. So anything is possible. Right? ;)

    Did Turner have a triple double? They were joking about that on the radio last night that he did if you counted turnovers.

    He had 2 legit triple doubles. Think he had 1 or 2 other times where he had a double double but also double digit turnovers.
