birddog23TJ McConnell has decided not to shoot the ball at all since he's been at Arizona. Thankfully it has only been two games. Dwight Powell has been very nice for me though, close to 90 points through 2 games.

Laley23Big day today. I have 6 of 12 playing games, and Im sure most of you all do to. We should have a good sense of who has a shot at the week 1 victory after tonight, I would think.

I've got 5 going tonight. 3 of which will be in the Kansas/Duke game (Wiggins, Selden, and Hood).Laley23;1534261 wrote:Big day today. I have 6 of 12 playing games, and Im sure most of you all do to. We should have a good sense of who has a shot at the week 1 victory after tonight, I would think. -
IliketurtlesYeah my team plays 6 today but 2 have already played their games haha. I will have played 23 out of 41 after tonight.
-
Terry_TateI'll have played 20 out of 37 after today. Cady Lalanne is playing right now and had 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes. SMH.
-
birddog23Chaz Williams and Johnny O'Bryant having good 1st halves. Unfortunately though Jarell Martin is out with an injury.
-
Terry_TateI've got my spreadsheet set up and basically took what Azu did and am just going to do a spreadsheet for each week. I'm going to spend tonight trying to get it set up for this week and will try to update it as often as possible. Would it be best if we do a thread for each week of scoring? Azu can start it and I'll try to make the second post and will try to do it as follows:
Terry Tate - 15/37 - 519.50
Azubuike24 - 16/39 - 482.75
Iliketurtles - 18/41 - 479.25
etc.
That way we can try to keep a tally as the week is going for scores and catch any errors early. Myself and Azu can try to do full scores so that way everybody can have an idea of where the standings are before the week is over. -
Azubuike24That's a good idea. I was going to do it all at the end, but this will really cut down on the end of week work!

Yeah I will be updating my spreadsheet tomorrow for everyone. Hopefully it doesn't take that long haha.Azubuike24;1534505 wrote:That's a good idea. I was going to do it all at the end, but this will really cut down on the end of week work! -
Laley23Not that Tymell Murphy has been bad (16/11/2/1/3/3) today. But I can't believe I forgot that Rakeem Buckels was eligible for them from Louisville. He is taking all the scoring!!! Lol

Iliketurtles
At least for you everyone else did too. He's put up some great numbers in the first 4 games.Laley23;1534553 wrote:Not that Tymell Murphy has been bad (16/11/2/1/3/3) today. But I can't believe I forgot that Rakeem Buckels was eligible for them from Louisville. He is taking all the scoring!!! Lol -
Terry_TatePierria Henry with 34 in the first freaking half. Love that guy.

SportsAndLadyI think my biggest problem in my draft was only drafting based on points. Take tonight for example, I have guys tonight with 30 points, 21, 21, 19, and 18. But they all have lines like 3 boards, 2 assists, 2 TO's.
Points are nice, but a well-rounded, holistic stat line is gonna win this thing. -

I did the opposite. Went for balance. Not working very well for me so far…SportsAndLady;1534627 wrote:I think my biggest problem in my draft was only drafting based on points. Azubuike24Mitch McGary on the other hand, is killing me.

I didnt take anyone that didnt average 25 a game (in our game) and it came out that most of them were at like 12-14 ppg. So, obviously, they ended up being well rounded guys.SportsAndLady;1534627 wrote:I think my biggest problem in my draft was only drafting based on points. EDIT: I did take Gary Harris who was only at like 19 a game for us, but I figured he would up that significantly, since I think he wins the B1G POY. -
IliketurtlesI tried to find balance but also guys who could score. My downfall is going to be my centers. I should have taken at least one a few rounds earlier than I did.
-
SportsAndLadyMy downfall will be stat lines like 16 pts, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 TOs
That's literally all of my guys except for like 2 lol -

MulvaI love Kyle Anderson too. Scored 8 points tonight, had 4 turnovers, and still put up 32 fantasy points.
