Tried that, but no luck. How could Grand Canyon not be considered a power opponent with Thunder Dan Majerle as head coach? Ha.

    I'll try their website.

I think espn might just be slow with so many games going on. Maybe they don't have a stats person there haha.

    Thanks.

I'm gonna use Christopher Anderson instead, I think. Damn. Nice stat line.

For this week, I think it's fair we just let it go.

However, once a guy is on your roster as say a F, even if he is a G/F, you can't move another G/F (who was a guard) and then add a guard in free agency.

Basically, it's spot for spot. The reason being we didn't make it clear during draft time, otherwise G/F and F/C would be more valuable because of flexibility.

This is how I understood it from our discussions. If people don't care, I don't care either. Meaning position flexibility if you can swing it.

Rec has his guy, so it's a moot point at this point.

But, yeah, going forward, you should have to replace based on the position your player is listed.

and on that note, we should give till the end of week 1 to set line-up with positions. In other words, probably don't wanna have a gf as your utility. Put a guard only or forward only there. That way you keep the gf eligibility and you can still replace the utility player with any position...

So utility can be any position?
  • Azubuike24
Right. We'll set the end of week 1 to edit your roster how you want. Remember, look at ESPN to figure out positions.

Yeah. If a guard UTl is hurt, you can replace with anyone (c f g)

Welp, apparently Melvin Ejim is injured...didn't even fucking know that lol
  • Azubuike24
Mitch McGary is out and Bryce Dejean Jones was suspended. Yeah, it's gonna be the haves and the have nots for the first week.
  • GOONx19
Julius Randle is on pace for 60 points.

    Only 20, 12 and 3 thus far.

The Harrison twins look really good today.

It could be worse. Chris Wood played 1 minute in his UNLV debut. Miraculously, he soared for two rebounds. So I got 2.5. SMH.

I became a Rebel Insider (for one month only) today just so I could read what they were saying about the kid. I am straight fucked. Ha. Have no idea why I put all of my faith into this random kid.

C.J. Wilcox doesn't play until tonight, but here are my stats to date.

  • GOONx19
I have 404.75 if the UK game today doesn't have any stat changes.

Am I right in still thinking "Total Fantasy Points" essentially mean nothing? And really we should be adding up each individual category? That is the rotisserie scoring that you outlined originally Az.
  • birddog23
Guys, total points mean nothing. Its the total of each individual category that matters.

    I don't think that's true.
    SCORING
Total scoring will be based on the following numbers.

    TOTAL=(POINTS x 1)+(REBOUNDS x 1.25)+(ASSISTS x 1.5)+(BLOCKS x 2)+(STEALS
    x 2)-(TURNOVERS x 1)

We will base each week on a scoring system and your team will be awarded points for their finish per week. So, if you lead the league in total points, you receive 12 points. Whoever finishes last gets 1 point. The top 4 point earners by the end of the year will make the Final Four.

Man did I read that wrong. Thanks for point it out now lol.

I'm at 308 with everybody having played one game except Jarell Martin. Need my Centers to step up.

Also, I'm under the impression it is total score, hence the formula accounting for all of the stats.
  • Azubuike24
Total score. Every week, totals will be ranked 1-12. Points assigned 12 for the most and 1 for the least.

Basically, we're going to have some weeks where it's very uneven. Memphis, for instance, only is guaranteed 1 game in this first 10 day span. A few other teams are playing 4, 5 or 6 games.

Obviously as we move on, the pre-season tournaments and such will also help certain teams.

The more I think about it, the more I hate that. A guy putting up 40 points in 1 game gets less credit than a guy who puts up 50 total in 3 games.

    Oh well.
