    I don't either 4-4 in-conference vs 5-3 plus the Bobcats imploded in 3 of the last 4 games. Frank Solich I'm guessing.

    Wow UT was screwed hard, gave Mizzou fits, beat Navy and Bowling Green, while Ohio was awful man, BG scored I believe 21 in their first 5 offensive plays of that game

    Honestly, OU should decline the bowl bid. It'll save them money and more embarrassment. People are probably holding the loss to Akron against Toledo, well at least they didn't lose at home to Kent St.

    I guess the last thing that is bothering me about the season being a Buckeye fan is all year the talk was OSU is overrated, ranked to high, dah dah dah but then they lose and they move Sparty up into the top 5 for beating a badly overrated team? So were they good or not? According to as Sparty's climb I guess not overrated? So when you lose to Ohio State you suck and are punished in the polls but beat em and you are worthy and get a much higher ranking???

    Slice & dice this all you want but here's all you need to know:

    1. Outside of Ohio, the Buckeyes are loathed. I never saw it when I lived in Ohio but having spent quite a few yeras now in Pennsylvania and Tennessee, I can assure you that no matter how well Ohio State plays, it will never be good enough.

    2. Until the B1G starts winning national championships, the conference will continue to receive disrespect. The ONLY reason the pollsters put Sparty in the Top 5 now is because they have no shot at the NC at this point. Had this game happened a few weeks ago, MSU would just now be cracking the Top 10 and Ohio State would have dropped 10 spots instead of 4.

    Oh I know after the last 18 yrs in FL and now residing in TX. They want their cake and also want to eat it to when it comes to OSU. Not a good team but a damn good team to beat it seems!

    nowhere near as bad as OU losing at home to Kent St. Akron had the same record in the MAC as OU and played a much tougher conf schedule.

    It kind of does, because I want the MAC to do good and I would have more confidence in Toledo than Ohio.

    Yeah but either would get crushed in all honesty, they lost to VT by 5, beat UNC by 24 and NC State by 14. I wish we could get Marshall to rejoin the conference honestly

    Me too but why would the Thundering Turd do that? By the way, besides Solich as being the reason Ohio got the bowl bid, the one quality win Ohio has on its resume is a victory over Marshall earlier in the season before the Great Bobcat Implosion.

    I would agree that Ohio doesn't deserve a bowl BUT they did beat Marshall and stomped on Akron before the inexplicable season-ending letdown.

    Doesn't matter....Toledo would get killed by East Carolina too. Might as well be Ohio receiving the beat down.

    OU gave Akron their worst loss of the year, what's your point? The Zips aren't a good team and only wins came against everybody they were supposed to excluding Toledo.
