Pick6Saw Louisville sold some 45,627 season tickets. No idea how it stacks up to other major programs (probably doesnt), but seemed pretty impressive.

MulvaIt might just be because he's at Vandy, but I'm a huge James Franklin fan.

MulvaUSC is down 5-3 to Hawaii and former OSU QB Taylor Graham.

se-alumUSC's offensive play calling is atrocious.

Fly4FunLosers of the first night of College football:
1. Jadeveon Clowney - 3 tackles, but he looked out of shape and like a complete non-factor on multiple plays because of a lack of effort.
2. American Athletic Conference (football remnants of the Big East) - UConn lost to a FCS school Towson previous convincingly. UConn was a 17 point favorite and ended up losing 33-18. And Rutgers lost to Fresno. At least UCF won, but losing 2 out of 3 isn't the way to start especially when one of those was to an FCS school. Even if Louisville does go undefeated this year, I don't think they should be in the NCG. -

This. I know it was hot, but that's no excuse for a consensus AA and Heisman candidate. Very much unimpressed.Fly4Fun;1493510 wrote:Losers of the first night of College football:

Hopefully the AAC is still a loser after Sunday. I mean, it might be a tall order for Ohio to beat Louisville, but damn, that'd be a cool way to start a season.Fly4Fun;1493510 wrote:Losers of the first night of College football:

I'm not an Ohio fan, but that would be enjoyable and great for the program.Heretic;1493514 wrote:Hopefully the AAC is still a loser after Sunday. I mean, it might be a tall order for Ohio to beat Louisville, but damn, that'd be a cool way to start a season. -

You cant use tackles to determine how good of a game a DE had. He didn't have a great game but he wasn't terrible either.Fly4Fun;1493510 wrote:Losers of the first night of College football:

I agree with this. NC gave up only 11 sacks last year. Not because of a stellar line, but because they don't hold onto the ball. They doubled Clowney and ran away from him all night. His conditioning did seem to be a pretty big problem though.Rotinaj;1493527 wrote:You cant use tackles to determine how good of a game a DE had. People tend to like numbers so I threw out the only numbers he had really. He did put a pressure on the QB I think 2 or 3 times as well. But there were some plays where you could literally see him just stand up or not give effort.Rotinaj;1493527 wrote:You cant use tackles to determine how good of a game a DE had. It was terrible because all off-season he was the big story line besides Manziel, and he claimed that it would take 2-3 people to stop him and that still might not be enough. He was hyped up as a defensive Heisman candidate. This game was nationally broadcast and obviously the highlight game of the night (opening night) and he just looked like a good but not great player.
That's why he was a loser for the night, not because I thought he was terrible, but because he didn't come close to living up to expectations and looked like he gave up on some plays on national television with everyone watching. -
Terry_TateSparty with a wow play on defense. B1G baby.
-
Fly4FunMichigan State defense looks really good so far.
1st interception lateraled for a TD
2nd interception was disgusting, Curtis Drummond (spelling?) made a ridiculous catch on that int. Top 10 play easily. -
Terry_TateKurtis Drummond with possibly the Interception of the year.
