That's about the same reaction the entire Pac-12 would have if they hired Orgeron permanently. Great recruiter who proved himself to be just an awful coach at Ole Miss.

'Bama only beats a 4-5 team by 13 points, did the pundits mention anything about how close this game was against a mediocre team?

He's killed it the last 2 weeks as workhorse back
He would be a top 3 athlete in the NFL, behind Russell Wilson and Brandon Weeden.

A team that the motherfuckin Falcons should have beaten too. I agree, I'm sick of all the bs, OSU won by 25 and scored 60, that's all Baylor has done all season. Enough of this B1G hate, MSU and OSU would roll in the Big 12 which is a lesser conference than the B1G. I think it's safe to say it goes SEC, Pac12, B1G, ACC, Big 12

Baylor has won 8 of their 9 games by 29+ points, including 5 by 45+, so you're right on the money as usual.

The truth is, none of the top three teams have played a tough schedule. FSU best win is Clemson. OSU best win is Wisconsin and Alabama best is probably A&M. If you throw in Baylor, their top win is Oklahoma.

Now Alabama will have at least two more games against high ranked teams. Auburn and SC/Missouri. Wins over Auburn,SC, A&M and Lsu will be more than enough to keep them at 1.

FSU has no games left against any good teams, OSU could have a good team if MSU wins out and Baylor has OK ST. While I know they have no shot unless FSU loses, Ohio State does have a legitimate argument for #2 assuming everyone wins out.

OSU's best chance at getting a NC bid is Alabama losing. The best scenario would be for Auburn to knock off Alabama or Alabama needs to lose the SEC championship game. Both of these situations seem quite possible.

Florida State has to have a complete meltdown to lose any games from here on out including what promises to be a joke of an ACC championship game.

Meantime the Buckeyes need to win out and beat probably Michigan State in the B1G championship. Indiana should be a lock and beating Michigan in the Big House won't be easy but shouldn't be an issue this year. Michigan State obviously worries me the most. Sparty has pulled it together and seems hungry for a Rose Bowl bid.

The Buckeye defense is an enigma. It started out the season a bit shaky and appeared to finally get its act together...before letting down against a below average Illinois team. Bad time to get shaky again IMHO and precisely why the pollsters have a negative opinion of the Buckeyes as being a complete team on both sides of the ball. YES the other Top 5 teams also have had shaky defensive games but for whatever reason (Urban Meyer perhaps?), the Buckeyes get a lot more scrutiny.

lol. Did a Jesse Palmer search on twitter. Literally everybody from multiple fan bases hate that douche bag.

Lotta traction this morning on ESPN radio for Baylor to overtake Bucks today. If that happens and OSU wins out and we don't get in after going 25-0...there needs to be a huge fan protest outside the NCG game by Buckeye supporters.

What would that accomplish other than making Buckeye fans look stupid?

Who the fuck wants to play in the Rose Bowl against a league only slightly better than the ACC? After yesterday I'm sick of the knocks against the B1G. The Big 12 and PAC top to bottom are worse.

How the fuck does that make us look stupid? It says we are getting jobbed two straight years for shit none of these players did and its time to let the nation know we're sick of it.

That's what talking heads are supposed to do, create conflict. Baylor won't jump OSU unless they beat OK St. and Texas, and if they can do that, I can't say as I'd blame them (the voters).

Baylor beat a TT team that is like 7-5, while OSU was nearly outscored in the 4th by an awful Illinois team.
OSU had to destroy people to keep Baylor off its heels. It did not.

So, hopefully the Cowboys can pull off the upset.

Need Baylor to lose too. Their strength of schedule and the fact they look better will cause them to jump OSU.

I do. The Bucks have only been in the Rose Bowl twice since the 90s.
The Rose Bowl is the goal every year for OSU fans.
Sure, the BCS Title game is awesome, but traditionally, it is the Rose Bowl.

If OK ST beats Baylor, I wonder how many people will then think Oregon or Auburn should be ahead of Ohio State.

    None really.
OSU would be unbeaten. OSU would be getting jumped by an unbeaten Baylor that would have looked better and beat more ranked teams.
A loss is a loss and would not allow those teams to jump OSU.

But, if OSU struggles against awful IU and Michigan, and looks bad against MSU, then maybe the idea might be entertained.

And again what would it accomplish? We still wouldn't be in the NC game and the nation still wouldn't give a shit. Most people would just laugh and say "look at those crazy OSU fans crying because they got left out, boo hoo."

    Headlines on ESPN today....

    "Baylor Rolls", score was 63-34.
    "Buckeyes Survive", score was 60-35.

    No bias there at all.
