It's great that once someone screws up the quote feature it's screwed up for anyone who tries to quote the screwed up post. And since most of us are too lazy to make the simple fix it just keeps going.

Soooo...back on topic and quit being a bunch of girls? Cool.
Read today that "at least 6 witnesses saying Fitch ran an autograph program where he received $ last year"

I stopped liking Clowney on Monday, when ESPN made the case that he is the best player in the country, college or pro.

    Clowney's fault, though?

I worded it wrong. It's not that I don't like Clowney. I'd just like to see him have a poor season. He can be a beast in the NFL after that if he wants.

You should hate on ESPN then, not Clowney ;)

I hope he continues to dominate.

    Awesome player to watch.

Good question, 'cause it was definitely the media's (ie ESPN) ad nauseam coverage of him that fueled my dislike that was started with the '06 'ship.

If someone wants to crucify him, I'll be the first to pound in a nail!

Not out of any dislike for him personally, but just knowing that in a remote Floridan run-down trailer somewhere, SoS will be crying like a baby.

To be fair, Tebow did project his Christian image on his own too, it wasn't just ESPN. He did that Superbowl ad for one anti-abortion group. And I'm not saying it's wrong to have a belief and support it. But when you're picking a side on a controversial issue that will leave some people to like you less.

The Super Bowl ad was as non-troversial as it gets. Just because the rabid pro-choice folks described it as controversial doesn't make it so.

I'm not saying the ad itself was inflammatory. I'm saying the issue in general is controversial.

    Edit:

In addition, there are some people who are annoyed by those who continually put forward their faith. It's just simple freedom of expression so I don't mind if a person holds themselves out as a particular faith. As long as a person doesn't go around demeaning others who disagree I don't see an issue. But fair or not, there are people who do find it annoying when a person constantly talks about their religion,

    REPS x1000!!!

Did I see a pic of Manzier doing a "Tebow" after a TD? Or am I dreaming? I'd like for both of them to meet up with Jesus...and the sooner the better.
  • Classyposter58
I think Tebow is all media fueled, basically he was anointed as a Pro Bowl QB and the reason the Broncos turned their season around, despite having absolutely terrible numbers

Newest report is 6 sessions and over 4,400 signatures in less than a month, but his newly hired lawyer maintains that he wasn't paid for any of those sessions.

six signings for three brokers in three states in less than a month for Manziel. Sources said he signed his name more than 4,400 times.

Good find Pick 6...this little shyster comes by it naturally don't he? When yo Daddy and yo Daddy's Daddy's Daddy are crooks it pretty much means yo gonna be a crook too.

God I wanna see this punk go down in flames hard.

A&M's Chanellor is a fucking douche. "He's a good kid. An honest kid...I think a lot of people are mistreating him and I'm not happy about it."

Uhhh who is mistreating him? He brought it upon himself, moron.
