Yeah that's it. Maybe you should try watching more Kansas basketball to learn what good coaching looks like.se-alum;1574462 wrote:Apparently Self has changed his philosophy from early in the season and allowed Wiggins to score more!! -
Midstate01What is different with those uk and Duke jerseys?
Love osu wearing the Jimmy Jackson throwbacks. Is the first uni that I really remember. The top that is. -

Best coach in the country right now, imo. -

Not a whole lot. Which is why I said "throwback."Midstate01;1574469 wrote:What is different with those uk and Duke jerseys?

reclegend22I am a huge fan of the Syracuse jersey in cursive with the contrast color shorts. Awesome.

reclegend22With 17 minutes to play in the second half, Cincinnati led Louisville 44 to 27. Three minutes later it is 44 to 41. A total meltdown.

Montrezl Harrell is a fucking boss. Such an exciting player and plays with such emotion. Love his game -
reclegend22It's a shame, because the Bearcats totally dominated Louisville in the first 23 minutes. The better team was clear IMO. But, after a few questionable calls to start the second half, including a ridiculous tech on a Cincy player after said player was baited by a Cardinal who shoved him and knocked the ball out of the Cincy player's hands, it all begin to unravel. That sequence really turned the game around for L'ville.
I really hate that team. Hope Cincy pulls it out somehow. -
SportsAndLadyDo you have money on UC rec? lol
I think it's been a pretty good game overall...haven't really seen bad calls for the most part. Just a great college bball game.
UC should pull this out -
reclegend22I did have money on it, but at +9, so that was never a concern tonight.
I've been very open about my hate for Russ Smith (and the Academy Award caliber performance he and Rick Pitino gave after Russ tried to bait a phantom Sean Kilpatrick elbow earlier in the half, by launching back five feet and pretending he got ran over by an elephant, only increased that) and Louisville in general. The way they mugged their way to a championship last season was disgusting. Without their almost criminal defense, they don't even get to the Final Four. -
reclegend22Big win for the Bearcats on the road at the YUM. Mick Cronin, while oft-maligned, has Cincy at 20-2 and undefeated in the American Athletic Conference. This is an excellent squad and with a favorable schedule coming up over the next five games (getting UConn at home, although playing SMU on the road), Cincy might be able to sneak into the Top 5.
Sean Kilpatrick went for 28, 5 and 2 tonight. His being left off the Wooden list is a disgrace. -
SportsAndLadyBYU has 28 points in the first half...Tyler Haws has 21 of them.

Love that guy.SportsAndLady;1574558 wrote:BYU has 28 points in the first half...Tyler Haws has 21 of them. -
reclegend22Haws is great fun to watch. BYU really hit the lottery with Jimmer and Haws almost back-to-back.
-
reclegend22Bill Walton just called the act of an Oregon player drawing a foul on a three-point attempt in which he simply lunged desperately forward into a stationary UCLA defender a crime against the spirit of competitive athletics. Lol.
-
reclegend22Norman Powell just went Shawn Kemp on an Oregon dude for an and-one in the lane, then stared him down like Alton Lister. Nasty dunk.
Oregon making a big comeback, though, after trailing UCLA by double digits in the second half, but they are just not good. It's like watching an AAU team. With a loss, the Ducks would fall to 2-6 in the Pac-12. They definitely need this one to keep NCAA hope alive. -
SportsAndLadyBill Walton is so great lol
"Kyle's not gonna shoot that ball! He's not going to!" -
reclegend22The most entertaining announcer in sports, bar none. Love Walton.
UCLA goes up 2 with five seconds left. This has been a really good game over the last 10 minutes. -

38 points on the night. I'll take it.SportsAndLady;1574558 wrote:BYU has 28 points in the first half...Tyler Haws has 21 of them. -
Prescott
Sometimes, he makes me wonder WTF. Last night, he criticized Oregon for not "running" by referencing Steve Prefontaine, the first athlete signed by Nike.I don't get the connection, but Walton often sees things on a different light.reclegend22;1574601 wrote:The most entertaining announcer in sports, bar none. Walton is very entertaining. -
Azubuike24Are you being sarcastic about not understanding the Prefontaine/running/Oregon/Nike connection?
I didn't hear it live, but that's a fucking brilliant metaphor by Walton. One of the few that actually makes sense... -
PrescottSorry to disagree, but it doesn't work.
Paraphrasing Walton: I can't believe that school that produced Steve Prefontaine isn't running. They should be running.
If he had said the Ducks should be running like the great Oregon runner Steve Prefontaine it would work.
That is my opinion.
I would also guess that half of his audience had no idea who Steve Prefontaine was or what he accomplished. -
SportsAndLadyDamn, what up Kaylee Hartung
