But if he likes college, more power to him.
GR3 I think can actually up his status. He has a pure NBA body and game. So if he puts it together all year, he can possibly move up in the draft.
yupse-alum;1428812 wrote:I completely agree with this. Terrible move by McGary, and GRIII will probably end up right around the same draft position next year, and possibly could move up a few spots. Also, GRIII probably doesn't really need the money right now. -
wildcats20Saw a tweet in amongst all the Boston stuff saying that Olynyk is going pro.

Azubuike24Eli Carter leaving Rutgers.
Duke and Florida linked to him.
Florida napped Rosario from Rutgers, while Jonathan Mitchell went from UF to Rutgers. Both definitely did not disappoint at their new schools. Kind of a pipeline it seems... -
SportsAndLadyEli Carter is pretty good, he'd be a big addition to wherever he goes.

Duke has a bit of a pipeline to Rutgers as well. Both Roshown McLeod and Dahntay Jones transfered out from Rutgers to Duke. Not sure if the Blue Devils really need another guard or not. Although, with Rasheed Suliamon a possible flight risk next season, there could be room for Carter in 2014-15. By that time, however, I hope that Quinn Cook, Matt Jones and Tyus Jones comprise Duke's starting backcourt.Azubuike24;1431058 wrote:Eli Carter leaving Rutgers.

Azubuike24Trevor Lacey transferring from Alabama. Another big time scorer available for someone...
-
Azubuike24BTW, an interesting thought I've seen brought up on Twitter. Should the Rutgers' players get an eligibility waiver given the circumstances?
IMO, it was terrible, but no. Others feel differently, and if the NCAA was truly about the "student-athlete", what is more justifiable than physical abuse at the hands of a superior. -
Azubuike24Russ Smith returning to Louisville. Sounds like Chane Behanan is also.
Puts the defending champs with a hell of a returning team.
Russ Smith
Chane Behanan
Montrezl Harrell
Luke Hancock
Wayne Blackshear
Kevin Ware (maybe)
Stephen Van Treese
2 highly touted recruits in Rozier and Jones. -

I think they'll really miss Siva though.Azubuike24;1432900 wrote:Russ Smith returning to Louisville. Sounds like Chane Behanan is also.

You mean Sivas finally gone? -
GOONx19^ 12th year senior.
-
Azubuike24I'll believe it when I see it, but some have said Chris Jones is the 2nd best PG in this class and both he and Rozier are top 5.
I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm not really sure how much they will miss Siva. They will miss Dieng more...especially for what they try to do on defense.
For their experience, Hancock, Smith and Behanan are all below average defenders for their positions, and both Smith and Behanan are way undersized (probably why both aren't going pro).
The guy they really need back is Kevin Ware...if that's possible. He can play some PG. He will be their best defender. -

He is a JC recruit right?Azubuike24;1432949 wrote: but some have said Chris Jones is the 2nd best PG in this class -
Azubuike24Yeah. We've seen it before though, talent is one thing, but JUCO's are usually hit or miss, even the top 5 who appear to easily have impact potential.
-
reclegend22What happened to Russ Smith turning pro? Wasn't that just announced the other day? Guess he changed his mind.
That definitely keeps Louisville near the top. -
Laley23His dad said it after the title game. He said almost immediately that wasnt true and was 50-50. The fact he denied it was telling me he was never going and just didnt want to make his dad look bad.
-
Azubuike24Perfect storm for UL.
Russ is the perfect example of a crazy productive college player who really doesn't have an NBA future. -
Heretic
He's still trying to get that unprecedented 13th year, though. Figures they've let him hang around this long, so what's one more year.GOONx19;1432928 wrote:^ 12th year senior. -
wildcats20No official announcement that I've seen, but Jay Williams just tweeted congrats to Shane Larkin on declaring.
-
Azubuike24Yep.
South Carolina and Frank Martin just had 3 potential starters and 4 of their projected top 6...transfer. Bruce Ellington will likely not play football.
Ouch. They are going to suck big time next year... -
wildcats20Payne is coming back to East Lansing.
-
Azubuike24Same with Isaiah Austin.
Baylor returns everyone except back court A.J. Walton and Pierre Jackson.
Going to be lots of pressure on L.J. Rose to run the show. If he develops, watch out. Despite Scott Drew...as always. -

Hes probably going to be a lottery pick next year.wildcats20;1435323 wrote:Payne is coming back to East Lansing.

Zero chance he goes in the lottery.Hb31187;1435587 wrote:Hes probably going to be a lottery pick next year.
He wouldn't have gone in the lottery this year. -

What does where he would of went this year have to do with where he'll go next year? And Id say theres a damn good chance he goes lottery next yearAzubuike24;1435599 wrote:Zero chance he goes in the lottery.
