My mistake then. -
reclegend22Burke definitely struggling with depth perception early. Each of his shots have been way long.

What if they were 1-9 against man-to-man?ccrunner609;1420852 wrote:UM 1-9 from deep........they arent gonna win shooting that vs a zone -
Ironman92I'm interested in this game.
Not sure when McGary became so good. -
reclegend22I read an article the other day that compared trying to navigate the Syracuse zone to trying to see through a forest. Their arms so long and constantly moving, it's like being defended by an army of tentacles. Clark Kellogg did say one bright thing tonight. Michigan is going to have to beat the zone by getting into transition and scoring before it's set.

Ironman92Ugh that Burke is from Columbus and the Pickerington kid is drilling shots for UM
-
LJI don't understand this Pickerington to UM pipeline, this town seems extremely pro OSU

reclegend22I wasn't upset when Mitch McGary chose Michigan over Duke, but it definitely makes me disappointed seeing him now. Damn. He runs the floor extremely well and has become a legitimate top 20 draft pick. If Michigan wins the tournament and McGary has a great showing on Monday, I think he's gone.

I would be happy and sad.reclegend22;1420858 wrote:I wasn't upset when Mitch McGary chose Michigan over Duke, but it definitely makes me disappointed seeing him now. Damn. Ironman92From the emblem!

Ironman92Is McGary as good as Kevin Love at this point of his career.....
-

That's the comparison I was trying to think of, but just couldn't place it. I actually think McGary is better at this point. He has a much better handle and control in the open court. Love was great at throwing baseball passes at UCLA, but he couldn't run the floor like McGary. McGary is much smooter as college freshman, in my opinion.Ironman92;1420861 wrote:Is McGary as good as Kevin Love at this point of his career..... -
reclegend22Michigan playing h-o-r-s-e.

He might be the best college player of all time. -
WebFireTrey Burke has longer range than North Korea.

se-alumMcGary is the reason UM is where they are in this tourney. He likely won't be back after this year.

You think this team would be in the Final Four without McGary playing the way he has?Tiger2003;1420873 wrote:What? -

In his defense, Mitch has been getting asked that a lot this week, due to is performance in the tourney.ccrunner609;1420874 wrote:this is thread gold! -

He says he will be, but when he said it his teeth almost fell out he was lying so hard. If the kid inches his way into a surefire Top 15 pick after the tournament, I think it will be hard for him to turn down. Burke is gone. This is Michigan's shot at a national championship. If they get it, there's nothing for McGary to accomplish next year, aside from personal awards.se-alum;1420871 wrote:McGary is the reason UM is where they are in this tourney. reclegend22For those that think McGary going pro is crazy, he's projected as a top 22 pick right now by most mocks. With a big performance this weekend and in the national title game, if Michigan gets there, he could play his way into the top 15 and then he has a serious decision to make.

NBA GM's tweeting he's a first rounder. With the loss of Burke, Hardaway, and possibly Robinson, it would be hard for his stock to go up much with as strong as the draft will likely be next year. I mean, he put up 25 and 14 against the best defensive big in the NCAA.reclegend22;1420877 wrote:He says he will be, but when he said it his teeth almost fell out he was lying so hard.
