  This story is so bizarre. There is just so much conflicting information out there right now. The one thing that this whole thing shows is just how pathetic the "media" is at fact checking.

  Is that really what you're getting from my posts? Man, not sure how you could read them and come away from them with that. I think I've been pretty fair and somewhat objective about it. Of course, my opinion is not that of the majority on the OC at this time so that automatically opens one up to ridicule on here...and that's fine. I can take it. Some open discussion and reasonable debate with the terry_tate's and wes_mantooth's of the OC is worth sifting through the bullshit on here.

  My post was meant more toward SportsandLady for saying you shouldn't say anything. By that right neither should anyone say anything until it all comes out in the end. That would make for a forum with no posts.

  Again, ND doesn't need defended in this case. At least not yet. And simply offering some alternative possibilities/scenarios in the situation isn't just defending Te'o.....especially considering that we've said that if he is in on it then he is trash and we'll have no respect for him. Sorry that we're not just going all-in on with one theory and present a couple others all while acknowledging that he could very well be in on it. And we're not rebutting everything that's being said. I thought Az's theory was a bit far-fetched and said so. Why is it that we should wait for the facts but others should not? That makes absolutely no sense.

  Understoood. Fair enough. Thanks for the clarification. And that I can at least understand. If one "side" should wait for the facts to come out so should the other. But the truth is....I'm not really on a side here. I admit there's some bias on my part but that is simply giving Te'o SOME benefit of the doubt in saying there COULD be an explanation for this to make it less scandalous. Then again, maybe not and he's a fraud piece of shit and I acknowledge that scenario and it's likelihood as well. I obviously don't want it to be true and I'm sure there are some who are hoping that it is true and as bad as it sounds. Fact of the matter is....if it's true....I won't be defending him at all. I don't think I'm defending him that much now....just saying there could....could be some explanation. We will just have to wait and find out.

  This is the place I was coming from as well. I admitted that I don't want him to have a hand in this because he was the good guy. I don't want him to be the heel. But if he is the heel...I'll boo him just like everyone else.
  
  I only wanted to provide another possibility. I got ripped for it. Which is fine. Just find it funny that one scenario is ludicrous because it came from a fan of the team.
