You can pretty much do this with anything. Bowl wins, BCS bowl wins, All-Americans, Heisman winners, conference championships, division titles, wins, top 10 finishes, NFL players, etc.

I went to a college without a football program but I have always rooted for the Buckeyes. My son gradulated from OSU so I did give a considerable amount of cash to the OSU. I think that counts.

We don't need reminded about Declan Sullivan. We know it happened and its sad it did. Also we know we haven't win a bcs bowl no need to remind us every 5 seconds. Also everyone knows Ohio st is ineligible this year no reason to keep bringing it up. I have no problems with giving each other a little bit of shit back and forth. I actually enjoy that. That's what is fun about sports. But it just goes to such an extreme on these threads that it's annoying.
