I'm thinking 4.5M! I think Arkansas is desperate to hold onto their recent success in order to not fall back into what they are destined to be and previously were, a middle of the pack SEC school annually.

one year doesn't make a coach...especially when inheriting the mess Wannstache/Graham left. IMO

On field, well, they beat a previously undefeated VT team and took ND to 3 OT. But I get it, overall, they were shit.

He's Madison guy, Wisky alum....outside of maybe Al Golden, I think he's one of their most reasonable targets

Just saw that. We can breath easy Irish fans.

@NDatRivals: Huge news for Notre Dame. Bob Diaco a reported finalist. MT @SIPeteThamel BREAKING: Boston College will hire Temple Coach Steve Addazio.

Jones is a reasonable target. Wisconsin is the type of job that Jones is most likely looking for.

VT ended up at 6-6, meh win. When your best win is a close loss.... well we see what happened with Charlie Weis. Pitt did not look any better this year than they did last year. College isn't like the pros where you gut the team then rebuild, when you are trying to upgrade at coach, wins should come in the first year. Tress had the same record as Cooper in his first year, but he beat Michigan. Hoke had more wins in his first year with the same talent, O'brien at PSU had decent success with the majority of his offensive talent leaving. Those are big time coaches. I'm not sold on Chryst.

He won't be winning anything with Urban in the conference. Then again, he won't be winning anything in the SEC either. This is about money, plain and simple.

No chance. Tressel won't coach D1 ever again.

ARK had 2 good years last year and the year before and was "suppose" to be good this year. Its not a downgrade. Besides, he will coach in warmer weather, in a better conference/division, and he will make more money. Makes sense to me.

I guess we'll have to wait and see on Madison. That one came as a surprise to everyone, so I'm not sure he was even thinking about that until now.

I doubt he'll end up at Colorado. That is, unless Butch Jones turns it down. But for now, I have to think that Jones is the front-runner and might be willing to take it over staying at UC.

No way diaco goes to Colorado. I could see him leaving to go to Wisconsin or possibly cinci

I know he was an SEC guy but I was hoping he'd be Plan A for Wisky. Adding Strong and Hazell to the conference would be awesome.

I could see Diaco being a candidate at Wisconsin. Alvarez was the DC for Holtz in 88 then left for Wisky's head spot. I hope he isn't but it wouldn't shock me at all. He's only two years removed from saying he didn't have any answers for Navy's option so he might need a little more time developing as a coach and how to handle being on that big of a stage.

Ark will not be as competitive in the SEC as Wisky would have been in the B1G so I do think it's a downgrade.

It's only a plus if you can compete IMO.

It would make sense to me if they threw a ton of cash at him.
