Laley23I wasnt upset. Thats actually funny, and I laughed. I just thought it was weird that you posted it, based on the other posts you had made. I was just wondering why you cared so much. But that is a funny tweet.
Sorry for not realizing its a tweet. You didnt copy and past it like most, so I didnt realize. -

This dumb phone doesn't copy them the way my iphone did. I gotta figure it out. -
Midstate01Amir is just fucking awful. Waste of talent and never plays hard. Hes just sort of there.
-
LJOSU kinda just lollygagging around. Nebraska fired up from their win last night.
-
Midstate01I think matta got his point across with benching of thomas. Playing well and have lead.
-
Ironman92Iowa choking it away and then they hit a crazy lucky ass 3 that both bricked and swished.
-
Ironman92Gus getting going

Not seen on my phone....I rarely check sticky threads....plus I think they are stupid. It's not like the most popular threads are going to fall down the page.
Thanks though. -
MulvaBill Carmody fired from Northwestern.

He is a really solid bat. Career .290 hitter. Never below .280 in 8 (I think) years. Is having a career year in avg. at .330 and OBP at .400. Not a ton of power, but who needs that at the lead-off (or even 2 spot). Never had 100 Ks in a year, and I think his most is like 85. He would be a pretty big addition to this team. I dont know what else is out there, maybe someone better, but Dejesus would upgrade the Reds.
Dumb. -
wildcats20Ok I have NO idea where that came from lol
But that is a dumb move by Northwestern -
Laley23lol wtf?

I'm on tapatalk and hit quote lol -
NilesPacManI saw that Carmody was on the hot seat according to some experts, but I didn't think Northwestern would actually pull the trigger. Just awful luck for them this season, and he should have gotten at least one more season. Though after 13 seasons, I guess they thought it was time for a change.

If Northwestern decides to look for a new coach, will OSU need to find a new assistant?
Probably not. But the Chicago Tribune listed Thad Matta’s three assistants — Jeff Boals, Dave Dickerson, and Chris Jent — among the candidates to replace Bill Carmody because of the Buckeyes’ success recruiting in Northwestern’s backyard. OSU’s recent haul from the Chicago area includes Evan Turner and current guards Lenzelle Smith and Sam Thompson. -
reclegend22I've read reports that Chris Collins might be number one on Northwestern's wish list. With great ties to the state being from the Chicago area, it'd be an interesting scenario for Collins. Not sure how serious both sides are about it, though.
Northwestern, whose lineage of coaches has accumulated as many NCAA Tournament appearances as I have, isn't going to bring in an elite hire with head coaching experience, so it might be a good fit. I'd love to see Collins get some head coaching experience and prove himself before taking over the Duke job, which I think is the -- current -- plan. -

It'd be a nice preparation for a coach learning how to manage more stringent academic requirements along with basketball.reclegend22;1406726 wrote:I've read reports that Chris Collins might be number one on Northwestern's wish list. I read that too somewhere, rec, but I can't find it.reclegend22;1406726 wrote:I've read reports that Chris Collins might be number one on Northwestern's wish list. Midstate01Wisky gets a lead then takes some of the worst shots they've ever taken. Fade away jumpers or shots with 25 on the clock. Makes no sense.
Game of runs -
reclegend22Wisconsin playing at pinball pace today with 52 points already. Bo Ryan is so tough to coach against this time of year. He simply will not allow you to play your game. You will play his. And that's what has made him so successful.
Of the 10 losses this year for the Badgers, however, many have been perplexing. They are tough to get a feel for. They have great size, shooting and discipline on both ends of the floor (for the most part, today the Badger's weirdly are playing like they are in an All-Star game, shooting wild shots all over the place). They could go as far as Atlanta, in my opinion. -

A lot of their losses came early when most figured the preseason injuries would doom them. But they got it together and they just grind you. If they get points from decker and he gets going, it really changes their team. Very tough to beat when hes contributing -
Azubuike24Could Jordan Hulls be the downfall to IU this year? He's a very good shooter, but I'd rather go out blazing with Watford and Oladipo having the ball in-hand a lot more. If they fail, so be it...
