I agree. I said might, cause they could go 2-2 and need a win or 2. 3-1 or a win versus IU and they are fine. But 2-2 with a loss to Purdue means at least 1 win in the BTT (imo), depending on who they draw in their first round match-up

They aren't beating IU. Minnesota is a good team though and deserves a place in the tourny.

Dan Dakich gives live in-game instructional demonstrations on the court now? Lol.

I love Dakich, though. He's quickly become one of my favorite announcers. Looking back to his animated days on the sideline at Bowling Green, it's not a surprise. I'll never forget the game he wore his suit jacket on backwards in hopes of reversing a Falcons' losing streak in the early 2000s. He's an entertainer.

Jordan Hulls might as well have a sign posted to his forehead reading "I am going to shoot the ball." And yet, Minnesota has left him wide open behind the arc four times tonight and got burned every single time.

I'm holding a very interesting conversation with myself on the board tonight, but Minnesota hanging tough against the No. 1 team in the land with 17 minutes left. A win against the Hoosiers would pretty much ensure a spot in the Dance for the Gophers. But I think Indiana may have too much firepower for Minnesota to keep up with until the end.

Gophers can't shoot for shit or this might be a game. Indiana looking like they'll pull away now.

    Hey Laley..

I didnt watch. But I am not really surprised.

Minnesota is way to tough inside for IU. I think they probably had 20 offensive rebounds. Wisconsin, Minny and Butler. Teams who play IU physical and tough inside can win.

I think you have predicted every Indiana loss correctly this year. I would have to look, but I think I remember you doing so. As an Indiana fan, perhaps you should stop doing that. Lol.

As a Duke fan, though, I'm the same way. Going into the year I knew they'd lose at N.C. State, at Miami and at Maryland and also believe they will lose at North Carolina or Virginia or possibly both. But those were the games I zeroed in on. I guess if you study your teams past failures enough, you start to pick up on them.

Its easy to pick IU losses, lol.

Wisconsin is a given. They always play MSU well and usually play OSU well. Never play Iowa or Minny well and Illinois they suck on the road and are awesome at home.

If I had to have made a list of Ls before the year. Wisconsin, Minny and Illinois along with Michigan would have been the 4 I picked. I would have said Iowa, but we got them on NYE without any students, which helped (they still sucked that game). For some reason I was very confident before the year and before the game of MSU and OSU as well as all home games minue Wisconsin.

I never expected to lose to Butler this year.
