Azubuike24Some great spreads tomorrow. Thoughts?
Iona +6 at Indiana State
Memphis -6.5 vs Southern Miss
Alabama +2 at LSU
Kansas -24 vs TCU
New Mexico +6 at Colorado State
Creighton +4.5 at St. Mary's
South Dakota State +3 at Murray State
Missouri +2 at Kentucky
Ohio +7 at Belmont
UNLV -2.5 at Wyoming -
GOONx19Missouri struggles on the road, but I can't believe Kentucky's favored.
-
Azubuike24Agreed. It's not a good match-up either.
Ryan Harrow vs Flip Pressey?
Willie Cauley-Stein against the best rebounding team in the country?
Bet Mizzou all day. It's the biggest lock I see. -

My thoughts are that you have a lot more faith in away teams than I do.Azubuike24;1394545 wrote:Some great spreads tomorrow. Thoughts?

Azubuike24I'm iffy on a few of those. Others, I'm going more on recent play.
Belmont and Indiana State especially. Really like how both Alabama and Memphis are playing. No stopping either, IMO.
Got any others? -
killer_ewokThere wasn't a game on the schedule that I wanted Syracuse to win more than today's game. Last game at home vs. Georgetown. Hopefully it's just the last conference game at the Carrier Dome between these two. One of the biggest and best rivalries in all of college basketball. Melo will be at the game and they'll be retiring his jersey at halftime. It will be an emotional day at the Dome. My best friend of 25+ years is a G'town fan and we're watching the game together as we've done several times since '89-90. Kinda crazy that we're both die-hard fans of each team but are best friends.
Go 'Cuse! -
reclegend22Can you imagine how good Saint Louis might be this year with a healthy Rick Majerus at the helm?
They fucked me last night against Butler, but I think the Billikens have a very nice team. They fought hard to come back and win that game in Hinkle last night after trailing close to double digits early. There is a lot to be said of momentum heading into March, and Saint Louis has won nine in a row with only one of those games being closer than nine points. They are running rampant though a very good Atlantic 10. -
Azubuike24Yes.
They are flying under the radar too. Temple, Butler and VCU have all been the "it team" from the A-10. The Billikens have been the most consistent of them all, have beaten Butler twice and won the only meeting with VCU.
Lets not forget, they have NCAA experience as well, just as Brad Stevens and Chaka Smart do. They took Michigan State to the wire last year in the 8/9 game in Columbus. Could've won that... -
reclegend22I wanted Rick Majerus to win that second round game more than any other team last year. I watched that MSU-Saint Louis game on pins and needles. I always loved Majerus and wanted to see him get another shot at a Final Four. With the talent he had on hand and the ability as a coach to absolutely dominate the tempo of any game he is a part of, if they had gotten by the Spartans I think the Billikens could have gotten there too.
-
Azubuike24I will say, I met some folks from SLU before the games last year at a bar and I was all decked out in UK gear. Even the SLU folks started into the "Calipari, probation, etc..." BS that tends to come up. I'll forgive them and go Billies!

MulvaI don't see any lines that really appeal to me today. I think I like these ones the most though:
Kansas -22.5
Oregon -5 over Stanford
Wright State -1 over Evansville
Maybe Wichita St -6.5 over Detroit. They'll win, but that line isn't too enticing for me. -
SportsAndLadyI wouldn't take Kansas -22.5
-
Azubuike24I bet all the games I listed as well as Syracuse -7 over Georgetown and Montana +13 at Davidson.
Decent start. Iona covered against Indiana State. -
Azubuike24Just bet a bunch more. Some I overlooked before. North Texas +8 at South Alabama.
I'm crazy and took Arkansas +19 at Florida. I mean the road woes have to subside sometime right?
Took your 3 and parlayed them Mulva. I'll owe you maybe... -
MulvaMiami is down 13 at half to Wake.

Lead down to 7 -
Azubuike24Wake shooting almost 50% and 64% from three. Miami is going to make them earn every minute of the upset.
-
Pick6Akron's Zeke Marshall is in some pretty elite company with the season he is having

Azubuike24Memphis blasted Southern Miss. How high do people see the Tigers being seeded if they win out? They would be 31-3 with losses to VCU by 13, Minnesota by 9 and Louisville by 9. Could they sneak into a #1 seed by any stretch or are we thinking 2 or 3 seed?
Is there a worse team than Mississippi State. Down 53-22 at HOME against Vanderbilt, who is 4-9 in the conference. -
MulvaI would say Memphis is looking 3 seed at best. I don't think they'll win out though. They've got 3 straight road games coming up against decent teams.

Did not know Wright State was missing their top 2 scorers until just now. Oops.Azubuike24;1394724 wrote:Took your 3 and parlayed them Mulva. I'll owe you maybe... -
Azubuike24Me either. Not looking great.
Montana looks good against Davidson
Alabama taking care of LSU. Trevor Releford 12 for 13, 29 points. Hell of a line for a PG.
Mississippi State...well...down 67-29 to Vandy. Haha. -
reclegend22Not taking Wake today in Winston-Salem at +7.5 is killing me inside. The Demon Deacons are 12-14, but, sort of like Arkansas, they are dangerous at home. Wake now has wins in Lawrence-Joel Coliseum over ranked N.C. State and Miami teams, a five-point loss to Duke that took the full 40 minutes for the Blue Devils to escape, and a single-digit loss to Connecticut that nearly went to the wire with Wake up big early.
This is a team that could easily play big spoiler in Greensboro at the ACC Tournament. Jeff Bzdelik is turning things around and making a once proud program competitive again. -
NilesPacManFor some reason, South Carolina/Georgia ended up on my TV, and I just saw Frank Martin. Completely forgot he existed this year. Does anyone know why he left Kansas State for South Carolina?

They have 2 wins away from Winston Salem.reclegend22;1394757 wrote:Not taking Wake today in Winston-Salem at +7.5 is killing me inside. I know it was real early in the year, but they lost AT HOME to Nebraska. No one has to worry about THIS Wake team in the ACCT. They are bad.
I didn't see any of the game today, but I assume Wake shot the lights out and Miami just sucked.
