College Basketball Random Chatter 2012-2013 Season

I'm so pissed. Very disappointed. G'town and Porter played great but I expect more out of Syracuse in a game of that magnitude. SMH

Oh well, gonna hit Pittsburgh to celebrate my birthday. I'll drown my sorrows there.

Anybody else taking Missouri at +2? In the wake of Nerlens Noel's injury, it sounds too good to be true. Trap bet for sure, but I will probably fall right in.

Also, your Razorback pick is looking nice thus far, Azu. Don't delete that sportsbook just yet.

I think Kentucky wins tonight. I've been wrong on just about everything this week, so Missouri +2 is probably a good bet.

Haha, but I think your first inclination is probably right. I have felt a UK win all day. No reason. Just a hunch.

I also like Rutgers +1.5 against Providence. Didn't notice that game earlier.

I don't providence has actually played well recently

Another late 3-game parlay. Only $8 bet, but feeling good. 13:1 payout.

    Missouri +125
    Ohio +230
    Rutgers +1.5

No faith in UK guys. They have looked awful since Noel went out. Nobody will be able to guard Flip Pressey and unless Cauley-Stein goes off for like 20 and 15, the Cats get crushed on the boards.

Bryce Cotton is a great player, and Batts isn't bad, but I really like Myles Mack of Rutgers and might give the Scarlet Knights the edge at the RAC. They had Villanova right where they wanted them in Philly earlier this week. Blew a 15-point lead.

Rutgers isn't bad. Both of these times, about time, should be possible contenders in a new look Big East next year.

I went Rutgers and Mizzou in a two-game parlay. But I really feel a UK win. I agree with Azu that the matchups as they currently are favor Missouri, but I am a big believer in gut feelings and I think Kentucky will give the Tigers all they want.

I am hoping for an electric museum atmosphere tonight at Rupp.

We'll see if Ryan Harrow steps up to the challenge or if he plays scared. He and Poythress are going to have the nightmare match-ups against Bowers and Pressey. We'll see how the effort is...

    Florida 71, Arkansas 54 - Whew!
UNLV is absolutely destroying Wyoming, 56-32 late 2nd.
South Dakota State/Murray State is a good one on ESPN2, Jackrabbits up 6 at half.

UNLV is really starting to turn it on st the right time. Would be crazy touch out in the tourny with all that talent

    Murray st up 3 now

Mizzou dominating the boards as expected. Too many layups.
  • GOONx19
Oriakhi with 9 rebounds so far.

Oregon is rolling Stanford. If Rutgers keeps it up (currently up 29-20) it will end up having been a pretty solid day.
  • Azubuike24
Man, my day could go really right if OU can pull the upset...
  • Azubuike24
What...I just flipped over to Providence/Rutgers.

Rutgers was up 8...like 30-22. Now, it's 42-33 Providence at half?

Providence went on a 19-0 run to end the half.

Rutgers is and will forever be terrible
  • Mulva
Poythress has been a beast tonight. UK up 7.

Ohio looks like shit against Belmont
