Heretic
Indeed. Every time I see this gif, I find myself staring at it for minutes on end. Mesmerizing.Laley23;1375399 wrote:Lol. I dunno why, but this might be my favorite GIF of all time.

Azubuike24Kentucky/North Carolina series has been renewed for 4 years, and hopefully for 6 years.
UK will travel to Chapel Hill next December.
UK's schedule next year looking pretty solid playing Michigan State, North Carolina, Louisville, Baylor and possibly Kansas. -
Azubuike24Laley, I know very few people on the IU side will buy this, but I do know that there were quite a few complaints from fans to people at the university regarding their experience in Bloomington. Not all, but some, and it was enough I'd say for Cal to take that stance.
While I think he's on board, if he really had his choice, I'm not sure he would really care all that much though. It's not necessarily his final call. I'd say it was just bad timing, and rightfully so for IU. I'm not condoning some of the reported behavior, but given the 3 previous years at IU along with the timing and magnitude of the win, it's gonna happen. -

And the futility of N.C. State basketball continues.wildcats20;1377180 wrote:State loses to Virginia.
Just saw a crazy stat today. After each of its last 13 combined wins against Duke and North Carolina, N.C. State has lost each and every time. The Wolfpack are truly a red-headed stepchild in the state of North Carolina.
Again, aside from being a slick recruiter, Mark Gottfried does not impressive me at all. -

Of course. Some things never change.wildcats20;1377180 wrote:State loses to Virginia. -
ironman02Not watching the game live, but apparently PJ Hairston likely has a concussion. Nasty collision/fall. Not good news at all, especially since PJ was emerging as Carolina's best player at the moment. Hope he's ok.

Mid air collision with Dexter's elbow. He took it to the head. I was sick to my stomach.ironman02;1377206 wrote:Not watching the game live, but apparently PJ Hairston likely has a concussion. He is back on the bench with a towel draped over his head. Saying it's a concussion. -
ironman02Carolina beats BC 82-70 to move to 14-6 overall and 4-3 in the ACC.
Hopefully Hairston isn't out too long. Carolina really struggles offensively without him. -
Azubuike24UK wins at Ole Miss, also 14-6. Carolina and Kentucky slowly getting off the bubble.
-
Azubuike24LaSalle, after beating VCU and Butler, loses at home to UMass.
Oklahoma wins at Baylor.
Florida beats South Carolina 75-36 -
ironman02After trailing early, Miami is about to beat Va Tech. The Canes will be 16-3 overall and 7-0 in the ACC. Crazy.
-
wildcats20Miami is the first team in the ACC other that Carolina and Dook to be 6-0 since the early 80s(Virginia).
-
reclegend22UMass isn't necessarily a bad loss for LaSalle. These aren't the Minutemen of Marcus Camby and Lou Roe, but they are 14-5 (with three of those losses coming to N.C. State, Miami and Tennessee). Chaz Williams is a pretty good player.
I was really excited to see what UMass would bring to the table this year, considering that they were anticipated to play a frenetically uptempo style under Derek Kellogg, who played for John Calipari during the Minutemen's great '90s run. That hasn't been the case, however. Certainly not as good as they were expected to be, I will give you that. -

Saw that earlier today. With Reggie Johnson back, and a 2 game lead in the ACC, Miami is looking pretty tough right now.wildcats20;1378096 wrote:Miami is the first team in the ACC other that Carolina and Dook to be 6-0 since the early 80s(Virginia). -
reclegend22Miami also has the number one strength of schedule in the country, with marquee wins over Michigan State and Duke. A couple of bad losses be damned, when at full strength with Reggie Johnson in the middle, the Hurricanes are a team that can hang with anybody in the country. Former BGSU Falcon head man Jim Larranaga is making Frank Haith look like a fool with what he's doing in Coral Gables in such a short time.

Laley23UCLA goes down to USC, who is now with a win 9-13, and Oregon is POUNDED by Stanford. Yes. Stanford.
Once again, LOL at Pac-12 basketball. -
Coach_08The stage is set for #1 Michigan against #3 Indiana Saturday night, going to be a battle.

Azubuike24Billy Gillispie will be attending the Texas A&M/Kentucky game in College Station on Saturday.
What's funny, is there is expected to be probably 2-3,000 UK fans there in a game that is a sell out.
Even funnier, EVERY FAN in there will boo Gillispie because nobody in the building really like him or probably really respects him. -
Azubuike24Illinois is in big trouble. Close, but no cigar, losing in East Lansing. Two monster games coming up vs Wisconsin and Indiana.
They still play at Minnesota, at Ohio State and at Michigan, three games they will be at least 5 point underdogs in.
They have to probably beat both IU and Wisky to be back in the hunt for an NCAA bid. As I've said, it's going to be a very interesting NCAA Tournament case. -
Azubuike24Butler getting whipped at St. Louis.
