Ohio St @ Michigan St 3-4

Big Ten Title is on the line. What does everyone think?

My heart wants to say the Bucks by 2 but my brain is saying Sparty by 3 or 4 possessions.

This game is on Sunday 3/4...but I agree with your predictions.

    MSU by 11.

Senior Day in the IZZONE. Gonna be tough for OSU.

Last regular season game, Big Ten title, Spartan want it outright, Buckeyes want a piece, Two potential #1 tourny seeds. CBS is probably drooling right now lol.

As for the game, I'm a little bit more confident than others. I love the Buckeyes chances. Let's be honest, talent wise, Ohio State arguably has the better team. The first meeting, not one, not two, but each one of our "Big 3" had off games. I highly doubt that will happen again. I believe someone will step up and confident Thad will make proper adjustments. I wouldn't be shocked if Sparty wins, but I think the Bucks prevail in this one.

I think Draymond goes off for a double/double and Sparty wins, but it'll be close. However, if Craft can score from the outside like he did last night, THE OSU's chances increase exponentially...GO BUCKS!!!

Unfortunately, I just don't see how OSU wins this game.

I think OSU CAN win the game. I am not sure they will. MSU isn't as great as some think. As poorly as OSU shot vs them the last time (25%), they had the game down to 4pts late. Payne played out of his ass as well. Never had a game like that before, or since. MSU was LUCKY, LUCKY to beat Minny last week. They were drilled by IU. So its not like they are rolling along right now.
As is the case playing MSU, rebounding will play huge as well as fouls. Can't say I am too confidence with how OSU has been playing. But I think it will be a knock down drag em out game.

Mental toughness will play a huge part in this game. Unfortunately, Buckeyes are lacking that this year. I don't see Sparty losing this game. Especially at home.

I do agree and have said this as well.

Izzo and MSU are asking the NCAA for a special pardon to have Delvon Roe dress for senior day. That would be awesome to see, and I hope it happens.

Izzo said he would play him if NCAA allows it. I'm not sure what exactly went down, but is Roe still on scholarship? If yes, what would be the issue? Honestly don't know.

I completely forgot about him--I thought he was long gone!

Wikipedia says he ended his career because of knee issues

He was. He decided last summer to not play again because his knees were so bad. But he still had a year or eligibility.

I know that. But he still has his amateur status and a year of eligibility. So, as long as he is a student at the school, he should be able to play. I just dont know for sure, cause a college kid has never "retired" before lol.

Letting him dress and give a senior speech would seem like a perfectly fine decision. But I just dont know about him playing.

    .
I am not sure he would be able to play. Thats a big question. I would find it hard to believe there would not have to be some kind of paper work, etc, etc, that would have be in place for anyone wanting to participate. If that was not done, I wonder if the NCAA would allow. I mean I wouldn't think its as easy as it sounds. Never is with the NCAA.

Yeah, thats exactly what Im getting at. Seems like it should just work out without issues. But we know that isnt the case. My guess is he is allowed to dress, be introduced as a SR, give a speech, and thats it. Not see game action.

NCAA said no to Roe playing

Sounds like no participating at all. Already a #LetDelvonPlay movement going on, on Twitter.
  • reclegend22
Why can't Roe have any involvement with the team or be introduced as a special guest before the game? It seems like he could simply dress up in a jersey like hundreds of fans will be doing in the stadium, have his name announced, wave around, and sit on the bench as a waterboy.

The whole thing is ridiculously stupid. The NCAA is full of idiots. It's unfortunate he died of cancer, but Myles Brand was head idiot once upon a time.

The NCAA should only be concerning itself with competitive advantage issues and grades/eligibilty issues. They consistently drop the ball on things in regards to just simply doing the right thing.

This whole thing is dumb. He is a professional actor so he cant dress. GTFOH NCAA. Where was this sound logic when Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) went from being a REAL professional actor/rapper to playing on a full ride to USC???

Like Jay Bilas said, Russell Wilson can play pro baseball and then play college football, but this kid cant act (how is that different than any other job) and then can't dress for one game? Truly a GTFO moment.

Pretty pathetic. But not a surprise at all. Its what we have come to expect from the NCAA.
