thePITmanESPN recruiting is pretty poor, but it's the only site on which I can find who OSU has offered in the 2013 class. Who on here is a lean towards OSU?

Gotta feel good landing a recruit that was offered by Alabama. Crossing my fingers.

dat dude
Would give OSU two stud CBs in 2013, both with elite, rare height. Very impressive.

lhslep134Urban is a f*cking boss at recruiting. I knew he was awesome at Florida, but it feels even better for him to be doing this for the Scarlet and Gray.
-
SportsAndLadyEli is 100% Buckeye...even NJ people are sold on that.
I'm getting pissed off on the ol' Rutgers boards...bunch of whiners saying OSU cheats, I wonder how much Eli is getting, etc.

lolOhio State gives the B1G a bad name. For Meyer to come in and get everyone mad at him, to the point he was accused of actual violations before even taking over the team, by other coaches, well it says something about him, doesn't it?
Also, the guy has been a head coach a total of five years and retired twice. That sort of thing gets worse, not better, as you get older. I would not be surprised if he's one year and out.
Not matter what happens, everyone is going to hate that team. I see no reason why a kid would leave his home, the New York/Philly metropolitan area to travel out to Ohio, to go play for a team that does it the wrong way and nobody likes. Hopefully he'll make it a soft verbal and keep the door open. Long way to go until signing day and my bet is he ends up at Rutgers. -

lolSo are the Giants and Jets. Doesn't stop them from getting 650% more media attention than the pro team in Cleveland. Woodward is going to play in Columbus which, isn't even Cleveland! You want to talk about not being in the major market? Columbus is major podunk. I know, I've been there. Strip malls and a lot of nuthin. Honestly, why a kid would leave the most densely populated region in the country to go play football in rural Ohio for a bunch of people in Ohio, is crazy.
You exist because you got there first but when we close the gap, and we're closer than ever, there won't be a bigger program in America. Darius Hamilton, Savon Huggins and a bunch of other kids are going to be the one's who do it. My hope is Woodward has enough time to realize that his childhood notions about what he thinks Ohio State is vs. what it really is are two completely different things.
Of course he should stay home and build his life here, where his family, community and state will remember him, idolize him and reward him for staying home. The NFL doesn't always work out. Woodward stands about a 75%-90% chance of being right back here in NJ in about five years. The doors that will open for him here if he stayed at home will not be open to him as a former Ohio Sate player. No one will know who he is.
But as a number one player who stays home? That's a whole career here. You can't really have a career in Columbus, unless you work retail.
I don't care how good you think the Ohio State experience is compared to Rutgers. Any kid who leaves this area, with the economy we have here, gives up way, way more than they'll ever get by playing in a bigger stadium six or seven times a year. Long way to go to signing day and know our coaches, players and recruits will hammer away at him, now that Urban has set the rules. He'll never play for Ohio State, mark my words. -
Midstate01Wow. Are those dudes on drugs??

Try comparing Rutgers football and OSU football... -
ytownfootballMan there's some 'tardation happening in those posts, Jusus. Spent four years in north Jersey, it's all about the pro game, you can see it reflected in those two posts. I still contend it's about pro sports out there because their college campus life, and programs sucketh the sack of donkey.
-
OneBuckeyelulz at Rutgers fans. Eli has always wanted to go to OSU. Rutgers isn't even in a nice part of NY, correct? Now if Columbia had a D1 football team I could see kids wanting to go there. But Rutgers? GTFO.

ytownfootballRutgers is in Jersey, it blows.

Midstate01Rutgers is in Newark right?? The carjacking capital of the world. A place you don't pump your own gas, because it's too dangerous. I hope I NEVER have to be in Newark ever again.
