Who knows what happens on the game winner if it's back another 5 yards. Shaky kicker, Tech's special teams, who knows?
An OT FG and a converted 1st down that lead to a FG certainly is an impact.

What was the line of scrimmage? I thought the 19 or 20? Linemen can go downfield as soon as the ball crosses the LOS. They also get a 3 yard cushion from the original LOS. That would mean they would have to travel 1-2 yards once the ball crossed the LOS to get to the 15 to catch it. The ball wasn't thrown on a line, and there was plenty of time for even them to take the two steps in that direction required. I haven't seen a replay showing where they were in when the ball was thrown, but it isn't impossible to think it was a legal play.

Yah it's all good. By the way is that the first time they wore those white jerseys? :)

overall, I think the reason most people aren't sqwuaking about it much is you just never see it. How many times can you think of where a kicker double clutched prior to the snap and made the kick? I mean you see the clucth on bad snaps and holds but never before the snap lol, it's just too fucking odd.

Yah I know that but it appeared he was already by the 15 when the pass was thrown.

yeah could have been. I only saw it live and whatever replays they showed right when it occurred and didn't really pay attention to that. I kind of thought I remembered them all running towards the ball, but I could be wrong.

Haha. No, but did you like the new wings on their helmets? ;)

Yeah it would have been a close one to call. The ball was also tipped back towards the line of scrimmage. It seemed like it was much further downfield than it probably was.

I do like the addition of the number.

I guess I mean immediate impact. From a TD to a FG attempt.

And I must go shower. I have complemented Michigan WAY too much in this thread.

Yah I aww those wings. Even saw something that looked like numbers. Are they going to get the pride stickers back?

I hope not. I never liked the stickers. I don't mind the numbers.

My feelings exactly. I'll agree with ytown to an extent. Every kicker has a pre kick ritual; tapping heel then toe or something. I WISH that the clip Webbie provided was the same crew from last night.

Is it me or did both teams not deserve to be in a BCS Bowl
