Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State

MulvaBut that still includes 8-4 Louisiana-Lafayette and 8-4 Tulsa. Tulsa played 4 ranked teams this year. They went 0-4, losing by an average of 28 points. ULL is in the Sun Belt.
In my opinion Alabama has 2 legitimately good wins and Oklahoma State has 3. Alabama lost to a great team, Oklahoma State lost to an average at best team. It's not an obvious call either way, and "Alabama already had their shot" is not a legitimate tie-breaking vote, because it's irrelevant as to whether they are the #2 team. -

I'm not disagreeing with anything that you posted. The same could be said about WVU's conference for LSU. I just believe that OSU is the 2nd best team because of what they've done on the field. I don't buy into the who/when you lost, but who you beat and how you did it. Some say that the Big XII has good Os and bad Ds. Well, the same could be said for the SEC in GOOD Ds with Bad Os.Mulva;1001483 wrote:But that still includes 8-4 Louisiana-Lafayette and 8-4 Tulsa. Tulsa played 4 ranked teams this year. cats gone wildSorry bigkahuna, OSU didnt make the cut. I guess they just arent at the same level as LSU and Bama. Maybe next year. Nah, probably not.

Seriously? Maybe lsu and bama just aren't as good as people think? -

I'm fine with it. Numbers don't lie, and there are plenty of numbers out there that show that OSU is better than Bama.cats gone wild;1001773 wrote:Sorry bigkahuna, OSU didnt make the cut. I guess they just arent at the same level as LSU and Bama. Maybe next year. Nah, probably not. -

Impossible. Until ESPN takes their mouths off of the SEC dick, this will continue.Crimson streak;1001799 wrote:Seriously? Maybe lsu and bama just aren't as good as people think? -
cats gone wild6 titles in a row dont lie. OSU had how many polls, computers, that they could of impressed if they were so dominant? Obviously, most people can see who the best 2 teams are. And again, yes I would of rather had OSU so LSU could of beat the best teams from 4 conferences.

Crimson streakOsu dominated a top 10 team last night by 40!!! How is that not impressive enough?

Oh yeah forgot about that wash up td with 2 min to go please they could have hung 70 on them if they wanted but they actually have class unlike the sec -

Im sure they didnt try for style points last night knowing the title game was on the line. :rolleyes:Crimson streak;1001898 wrote:Oh yeah forgot about that wash up td with 2 min to go please they could have hung 70 on them if they wanted but they actually have class unlike the sec -

LSU averages 38.4 points/ game and gives up 10.5 -

Yeah, because I added up 13 games? Its easy to see the score of one game (OK/OSU) 38.4 for a season is very close to 40 unlike 34 being 40 for one game.bigkahuna;1001907 wrote:Pot meet kettle

If you watched the game they actually didn't they ran the ball the whole 4th quarter.
Also lsu beat 5 ranked teams not 8 -

When the teams played, they played 8 teams that were ranked at the time. And as of now, its 6 ranked BCS teams and one on the way. Nice try thoCrimson streak;1001924 wrote:If you watched the game they actually didn't they ran the ball the whole 4th quarter.

Your also counting miss st. who is 7-5 I always hate that it should be who is ranked at the end of the year not the time you played them. Maybe they were just way over rated. -

I showed that a few pages ago. LSU-5 Alabama-3 Oklahoma State-3Crimson streak;1001938 wrote:Your also counting miss st. who is 7-5 I always hate that it should be who is ranked at the end of the year not the time you played them. Maybe they were just way over rated. -

Meaningless?Sad? Oklahoma St. just showed they are the #1 team by a landslide, in the state of Oklahoma.sleeper;1002085 wrote:This game was meaningless. Sad. -

The previous 5 in a row have exactly what to do with how good the conference is this season? Outside of Alabama and LSU, the SEC is not that good. Arkansas is THE most overrated team in the country. Embarassed by LSU and Bama on the field, played a bunch of nobodys.cats gone wild;1001858 wrote:6 titles in a row dont lie. I don't get why it is ok to have Alabam-LSU in the NCG, but back in 2006 it was not ok to have Ohio State-Michigan re-match. And if those 2 would have re-matched we would have never seen how both of them were overrated. Now we'll never know how overrated LSU and BAMA are or are not.
I am fine with LSU-Bama re-matching and will laugh when Bama wins and we hear all the whining. I'd rather have seen Ok St play LSU. I think they were more deserving than Bama, but it is what it is. -
KnightRyderthis was a big win for ok st , but you have to take the stoops factor into consideration.

The point of CFB is to win all the marbles. OK ST would be in the exact same position now as before the game. They'd get a BCS bowl game. Awesome.wghfan;1002111 wrote:Meaningless?Sad? Oklahoma St. just showed they are the #1 team by a landslide, in the state of Oklahoma.
