Notre Dame 2012

Both are unproven. An injury or transfer leaves the depth chart very thin. I think Kelly has said he likes to take one every year.

Gunner won't live up to the billing but his name would help bring others

Im not too impressed with him, but the scouts are I guess. But, Barkley had kinda bad #'s when he was a senior in high school and he was rated high, and he's doing alright.

Gunner is also playing with kids in Indiana. Not the most talent rich state in the country lol. If you are a decent athlete, you focus on basketball.

Says who? Was reported every day since last Thursday that he committed and it would be public soon. I hope your source is that Gino guy.

4 pm central so in about ten minutes. I'm going to say he'll commit to LSU.

Guess we will have to see after a couple years if he's as good as advertised. Surprised he would want to sit for 1-2 years . Im just a tad excited about this, mostly because of him being a 5* and it might help land others. Plus, LSU will have good passing QB's for awhile now instead of Jefferson and Lee. I cant say that Im really impressed with him tho.

He'd sit 1-2 years at Notre Dame too.

I didnt know your depth since Crist left for Kansas. LSU has 3 good QB's in Kiel's way.

I think K Russell will be Irish on Thursday.

Tommy Rees will be our third stringer next year

Rees has two years of eligibility left even though most are hoping he is just a serviceable backup moving forward. Hendrix has three years and Golson has 4. Not saying Kiel couldn't beat any of them out, but he wouldn't start from day one at ND and likely wouldn't start his sophomore year unless Golson and Hendrix both don't pan out.

The biggest thing about getting Gunner Kiel would have been the recruiting boost from having the #2 QB. It sucks that he's going to LSU but I am over it.

I am more than excited to be seeing what Everett Golson can do with this offense in a few months. He is a fucking monster:

Watching that makes me so excited he is going to be a beast

KeiVarae Russell is deciding today between Washington and Notre Dame.

55/45 chance that he picks the Irish. Could play RB or Slot.

    247 - #5 RB, #78 overall
    Rivals - #7 ATH, #117 overall
    ESPN - #25 RB
    Scout - #24 RB

Lights went out in the gym with four hats on table. Victory March started playing as they came back on and he was wearing the Notre Dame hat.
