There are like ten Cal fans total, and none of them use the OC.

Elijah Shumate's father called Notre Dame a "no-brainer," and is clearly favoring the Irish after his son's visit. Notre Dame has a great shot to land both of the Don Bosco studs.

    Elijah Shumate
    247 - #2 S, #80 overall
    Rivals - #7 S, #128 overall
    ESPN - #14 S
    Scout - #5 S

    6'1, 205lbs, 4.5 40m

    Yuri Wright
    247 - #1 CB, #24 overall (five-star)
    Rivals - #3CB, #57 overall
    ESPN - #3 CB, #40 overall
    Scout - #5 CB

    6'2, 185lbs, 4.4 40m

    They'd be excellent pickups.

Both would be amazing. Pair both of them with Darby and Shepard would be pretty sick

    From Greg Biggins...

WA RB Keivarae Russell is down to #Washington and #NotreDame, will decide next Wednesday or Thursday at school gym

Not what I was referring to, but that is good stuff.

Yeah I know....the boards are blowing up over GK.

Supposedly told the vandy coaches he's going to commit to nd. Huge get! Hopefully it will bring in some big recruits

students at Gunner's HS were chanting LSU while he accepted Indiana's Mr Football award tonight. He was reportedly supposed to commit at the ceremony tonight but couldn't make up his mind. Now hopes to decide by Christmas.

Well the outlook for Notre Dame was always "6-6 with a bowl loss should they choose to accept it." I guess they're moving up in the world?

For those of you keeping track at home, Notre Dame was 8-4 this year, but has never gone 8-4 in a regular season before that, ever. Sooooo it's awfully tough for that to be the "same story every year."

    Nice try though durrrrrrrkie.

what the fuck does that have to do with the future of notre dame? You cite past records to negate my opinion of what they will be next year? you are retarded, tobias.

I'm just shocked that he's picking them to win 8 games. He picked against 'em every game this year. He must think they'll be one of the most improved teams in America next year.

I'm considering his prediction a compliment.

It has nothing to do with your prediction, in fact it's an extremely valid one. But it has everything to do with he "same story every year," which as I pointed out has happened once in the last 120 years. You are insinuating that it's typical, but it isn't.

    Try to keep up, durrrrrrkie.

    Considerable smoke about Devin Fuller...

    Devin Fuller
    247 - * * * * * #3 ATH, #20 overall
    Rivals - * * * * #2 ATH, #32 overall
    ESPN - * * * * #7 ATH, #39 overall
    Scout - * * * * #6 QB

    6'1 190lbs

A Kiel backup plan, of course.
  • killer_ewok
Kiel still deciding today or tomorrow?
  • karen lotz
    Yeah he's supposed to.
  • Laley23
Anyone else hearing Kiel is down to LSU and Vandy, ND is a longshot? Hope not, that would be double kick in the nuts. At least when he left Indiana I though hed end up at ND.

No one really knows. After reading 66 pages on the LSU recruiting forum, Im not sure what he's doing. Suppose to decide Christmas day now (make that Monday), but not a fact. He likes LSU, but family wants him to be close. Dont know what it matters since they are rich and can fly out whenever they want. Both ND and LSU are still looking at other QB's just in case.
  • The Equalizer
Why are we looking at any QBs? We've got 2 pretty good ones for the next 3-4 years who can run this style of offense.
