    And Heacock.

Fwiw I was listening to a bitter Florida reporter being interviewed last week and he said urban hasn't called a play in his life. He is just a great recruiter and staff manager...

And other haters say he's never recruited a player, he's left that to his assistants.

    He has sources. Oh wait...

A former bench rider (aka player) from UF said this about Meyer
Its a joint effort between the Offensive Coordinator, and the other offensive coaches. There is alot of dialog that takes place on the head sets. However, Urban has the final say on each and every play that gets called. Usually the coaches are on the same page so he doesn't have to flex his veto power all that often.

Urban has the most control over the special teams units.

Is that your apology to jordo?

What head coach doesn't have final say on every play that is called? Also, where did that say he calls most of the plays? Can you not read?

It says rarely does he change the play that is called.

I guess I could see that as he doesn't call every play if I were trying to argue it that way. I'd be wrong, but I could argue it just to argue it.

Or you could just ignore the rest of what was said to be the douchebag that you are
so he doesn't have to flex his veto power all that often.

Mullen called plays. After he left it was a cluster fuck with Addazio. Meyer didn't regularly call plays, but he was on the headset plenty and had veto over everything.

Coming from someone who ignored Meyer saying that he will call plays, this is funny.

Plz quote where I ignored that? Or are you going to be typical Karen and go back only quote part of what I said?
  • karen lotz
LJ;993569 wrote:No he didn't. He said that he was going to hire an OC but he would still sometimes call plays.

That is an entire quote of yours. Please find where Meyer said he would "sometimes call plays"? Ask your sources.

So where did I ignore that Urban said he would call plays? I am still fucking waiting you douche
  • BigAppleBuckeye
As far as I am concerned, if Meyer calls zero plays during his tenure at OSU but hires assistants who are not Bollman and Heacock who devise an intelligent game plan, he is worth the $4 million a year.

NO DOUCHE! I'M WAITING FOR YOU TO SHOW WHERE MEYER SAID HE WOULD "SOMETIMES" CALL PLAYS.
  • karen lotz
I'm just waiting for LJ to tell us all what is "overall relevant" again.

He said he would hire a play caller OC- FACT
He has never called most of the plays- FACT
when he says he will call plays coupled with those 2, it means he will only call plays sometimes.

    Are you retarded?

If you're waiting for the little chubby moderator to admit he's wrong, you'll be waiting a long time.

No, no it doesn't mean he will only call plays sometimes. Its a decent stretch by you to attempt to save face, but that's about it.
