  Not if the 2 teams, move forward, and prove to be the 2 best in football. I guess we will see. If people want to hate on the game now because the teams are believed to be overrated, so be it.

  Its hilarious how retarded some of you guys really are. Have you guys looked at the points these teams have put up against all of their other opponents? So both teams had a bad offensive night against each other(EASILY the 2 best defenses) Im begging you people 2 pleaseeeeeeee stop being so damn stupid. Thank you.

  Not sure if it's been mentioned, but it was the 2nd highest rated regular season CFB game on CBS since they started measuring ratings in 1987, only behind Notre Dame/Miami in 1989. Not really surprising.

  Best part of that is how many people included in the number watching the game changed channels once they realized how boring it was, and put on a more exciting game.

  that was one alternative. Kansas State/Oklahoma State was on at the same time. Arkansas/South Carolina started at 7 I think. Plus there is always the option of not watching football at all.   I personally watched more of the Okla St/Kansas St game than LSU/Alabama also the 2nd highest rating was just for CBS not for all College Football games on TV the past 24 years.

  Other teams have put up plenty of points on both of these defenses. That is why it should be construed as bad offense and not great defense. If WVU can put up 24 on LSU, then any school can.

  So what could we say about your 2006 infamous buckeye squad? OSU scored 14,17, and 24 points that season and gave up 39 and 41? Was OSU's offense and defense horrible that year?

  Had a bad game. It can happen when you play in a conference where you have more than 1 good team. The SEC East is a joke, and the West only has 2 teams that are any good on a national level.

  Thats funny, because 3 of those points #'s I put up were against OOC teams. Had nothing to do with your "tough B10 conference," You're digging yourself deeper, might as well give up.

  Ohio State 2006 would absolutely demolish LSU 2011 and Bama 2011. The quality of football has been lacking as more and more teams strive for academic excellence rather than football excellence, because that is what really matters at the end of the day. Well, outside the SEC of course.

  So that 06 Florida team would beat LSU and Bama, 124-17 right? And Illinois that year would of beat this years LSU and Bama 96-21, right? I guess I didnt notice that huge drop off in how good teams are from then to now.

  No. Ohio State played a fluke game and stopped trying after Ted Ginn went down with injury. Florida was probably a better team than any of these current jokers, but the score wouldn't be 124-17. Maybe like 42-10.
