SportsAndLadyDrew is as dirty as they come...he's just sort of below the radar right now, but anyone who follows big 12 bball knows it. Everything about is just slimy. Not to mention hes a huge prick, which only makes people want to see him get caught even more.
In time..you'll hear a bunch of shit come out about his program and it'll be BRUTAL. -

Based on the article I read, I believe in SI not long ago, I would agree with this. Only a matter of time.SportsAndLady;1140201 wrote:Drew is as dirty as they come...he's just sort of below the radar right now, but anyone who follows big 12 bball knows it. Exactly. From what I've heard (rumors), threatening to have a kid (Perea) deported isn't even his worst act. That's just sickening!SportsAndLady;1140201 wrote:Drew is as dirty as they come...he's just sort of below the radar right now, but anyone who follows big 12 bball knows it. MulvaEveryone knows Drew is shady as hell when it comes to recruiting. The guy is absolutely hated in the coaching community.

SportsAndLadyLaley, you see this about a possible IU/KU home and home? First I've heard of it..would be sweet
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/blog/_/name/katz_andy/id/7791421/indiana-hoosiers-finds-stability-success-tom-crean
For some reason, lately I haven't been able to copy and paste from a few ESPN articles...not sure if that's my computer or what...but yeah the quotes are about halfway down. -
Laley23I did see that, about a week ago I think.
Sounds as though it is 100% dependant on IU-UK being renewed. Cal doesnt want to play that series as home games, and wants neutral sites. So they may not renew with IU who likes the home/away status.
If IU doesnt renew with UK, it seems 99% for sure we see a series with KU start up. If they do renew with UK, its like 10% chance. Crean doesnt want to overschedule. IU already has these games:
-@ UK
-Butler @ Conseco
-UNC/Duke (likely ACC team for challenge)
-UCLA and/or Georgetown @ The Garden (IU will get 1 for sure, then pending the W/L they get the other. Georgia is the 4th team)
Also some talks (but I doubt anything comes of it) about adding Louisville to the schedule. I know Pitino said he would love to do it. But again, Crean doesnt want to over-schedule. If they werent in the Garden event, Id think they would play KU along with UK. But since they are in it, it will be UK or KU not both. -
SportsAndLadyIU/KU would be a great matchup...a weird, rare, blue blood matchup. Would be awesome!

Azubuike24Intersting rumblings of Jamie Dixon to LSU talks...
-
SportsAndLadyWhy would he leave Pittsburgh? For LSU?
Oh and there is a lot of talk on some ku pay boards that Baylor is in deep shit if the NCAA does a full investigation in this texting thing...saying there has been a lot of money being passed around in that program. Obviously just rumors now so take it FWIW. -
Laley23With Scott Drew, rumors like they come of as fact lol. Especially after reading some of the texts over the years!
-
SportsAndLadyHe's as dirty as they come imo. And its weird cuz I can't really explain why lol
-
sportswizuhrdFor what his parents are going through with cancer, I hope if all the rumors are true that he did it BEFORE their news came out.
EDIT: Pinched for time because I am about to go to work, but didn't DJ Cooper recently say that Baylor was one of the schools that tried to get him to transfer there after OU beat Georgetown a few years ago? -
SportsAndLady^^yes..Dj and his mom said "we aren't going to name names...........Scott Drew......" lol
-
Laley23Tried to get DJ Cooper, did get Epke Udoh. Though Udoh being done dirty is just a rumor.
Here is a good article by Thayer Evans of Fox Sports about Drew "finally" getting caught, so to speak.

MulvaSounds like Baylor basically got a slap on the wrist for punishment. NCAA didn't add anything to the self-imposed sanctions.
Drew suspended for 2 B12 games. I think a 1 scholarship reduction, and probation. -
