Those two teams will tear him apart. We probably lose at least two more games with Miller at the helm too simply because he just isn't ready.
We lose 4 or 5 more games this year no matter who plays QB. Let the young guy play, make some mistakes, take some lumps, get some experience, etc. At least he has play-making potential above and beyond throwing the ball out of bounds.

    0 turnovers

In short, at least there can be some confidence in 1 QB at some part of the game
I'd much rather have a QB have some turnovers, trying to make a play, compared to our leading receiver being the trainer catching the ball when Bauserman throws it out of bounds.

Wouldn't it be even sadder for Miller?

    1) who ever said OSU was the almighty of the B1G this season

    2) Miami could have finished 2nd in the ACC this season if it wasn't for the Yacht-gate.

Leading receiver may be the trainer no matter who plays QB

I put this game on Fickell. He is not a head coach. The team wasn't ready. Made ton of mistakes and when you are getting beat the last thing you do is leave 3 time outs on the board. OSU's season is doomed if Fickell doesn't get a winner's mentality.

HighRoller74;900875 wrote:So you're saying, after watching the last 2 games, Bauserman gives us a better chance to win?
Bauserman doesn't give us the T.O. problems that Miller gives us. While Bauserman struggles to move the ball downfield, he doesn't turn the ball over.

Terry_Tate;900877 wrote:Lol, like Bauserman has any shot at beating Nebraska or Wisconsin? Miller at least has upside, you know what you have in Bauserman.
No... baseman is not going to beat Nebraska or Wisconsin, but at least he gives our defense a chance to win the game for us. Miller worries me (right now) with turnovers because he's not ready for the next level yet.

correct, he takes a quick look and throws it out of bounds.

He was 2-13 for 13 yards. Who gives a fuck if he doesn't turn it over if he can't move the ball AT ALL? Jesus. Did I watch the same game??

As I said before. I'd rather a QB try and make some plays, with the occasional T.O. compared to a guy who looks totally lost when he drops back to pass, and when his first read is covered his only other option is to put it 3 rows deep.

Miller may turn the ball over, but he's going to at least give us the added element of being able to make some plays with his legs, which we can all admit, Bauserman does not.

I think it is time to give Kenny Guiton some reps. He sure the hell can't do any worse

Difficult to turn the ball over when you throw it out of bounds. Bauserman is the worst QB OSU has had since Mocherman. He isn't a BCS conference level QB. There is no confidence in the offense with him under center.

Who gives a shit if he doesn't turn it over if he can't pass the ball?

Wow, calm down there champ. You might want to put the beer away and go to bed.

I'd rather him throw it out of bounds / out of the back of the end zone than force one in there like miller tried on his pass tonight that lead to an interception. Our defense was playing fine tonight.

So what's your solution? Keep playing Bauerman, run it every time and hope for a defensive score?

I put it on Jim Tressel who, for reasons only him and God knows, chose to take part in a cover up. For reasons, imo, that were completely selfish and short-term and not for his love of those players involved, tOSU football program is in the quandry they are in now. Yes, you can blame the players too but had JT reported what he knew, immediately, these players would have served their two or three game suspensions, at the beginning of last season and would have, in all likelihood, been playing tonight. However, it took one person looking the other way and looking at the little picture to blow everything up.

Because our defense was playing lights out and we trapped them inside the twenty the whole second half almost! What did miller do but turn the ball over? Yeah he moved it down the field that one drive on QB draws, but then he turned it over because he was carrying the ball way out there like he was playing against highschoolers!
