  It's not a meltdown...I'm happy for VCU, they're a good team playing the best ball at the right time...that's just the way college basketball is today; it doesn't matter how your season went..just get in the tournament and play your best ball then. UCONN, Butler, and VCU...all had pretty sub-par regular seasons, and are now in a Final Four. If this is a meltdown, it's the most laxidasical (sp?) meltdown ever

  Oh and great coaches don't lose to an 11 seed in the elite 8. Self got out coached and his team got outplayed.

  It was the missed free throws and threes.
  If Kansas would have made half of those 13 or 14 misses from the stripe, the game is dramatically different.

  Seriously though, I do not have much of a problem with somebody being a bigger fan of another school for a different sport, at least when they are not conference rivals, but to cheer for a school in one sport and cheer against them in another doesn't make much sense to me.

  Dickie V lost his credibility a long time ago. Bilas is fine. He never said VCU couldn't win the tournament. He said they had not done what they needed to do to get in the tournament. He was probably right.

  I have a friend who is an OSU football fan and UNC hoops fan. He was talking shit about OSU losing. Hes a major douche and I can't take him seriously when it comes to sports.
