Big 10 Semi - Ohio State vs. Michigan - Sat. 1:40 p.m.
-
Ankle BreakerMichigan riding high recently and coming off a huge second half comeback over Illinois. Probably punched their ticket with that win but will still be hungry for this one vs. the Buckeyes. Hopefully the shooting % will return tomorrow for OSU
-
vball10setit's one thing to try and get up for Northwestern, yet quite another for tsun...Buckeyes by 8
-
adogI can see this game being very tight like the NW game, but more than likely it will be a blowout by the Bucks. How often do you think Deibs will not have a 3 ptr in regulation?...Or Sully being held for 2 of 12 from the field?
Buckeyes move on to play Michigan St. Sunday -

Add in Buford's poor game and yesterday was just a nightmare. I would put all that I have and say that all three get back to normal today...Normal for OSU should beat tSun by 11.adog;708872 wrote:I can see this game being very tight like the NW game, but more than likely it will be a blowout by the Bucks. GOONx19I think Michigan wins this one. They're still fighting for a seed and the Buckeyes have theirs all locked up. OSU still gets their #1 and Michigan grabs a 9 spot.

...and let's not forget about Lighty's poor performance----let's get it rollin' again, Buckeyes!!!!!! -
WriterbuckeyeThe Northwestern game was the first time this year, I believe, where all the key players had sub par games (mostly). Sullinger broke that streak in the second half, but even with his great foul line shooting and rebounding, his shooting was really off.
I don't believe we've seen a game where Lighty has been ineffective trying to score and turned the ball over so much, Diebler was cold and Buford wasn't much better. It just doesn't usually happen with this team as the season stats have shown.
With a shoot around today to help them get warmed up, I think the shooting improves greatly, and the Buckeyes get their third win against UM, and go on to yet another appearance in the Big Ten Tournament finals. -

Right. Not something the Bucks have experienced all season which is what has seen them be hailed as balanced. That "balance" isn't quite as evident when literally no one steps up like yesterday.
Balance returns today and the Bucks roll... -

Agree with this. OSU shot 33% for the game. Without looking at season, I'd say that was by far their worst shooting performance of the season. I don't believe we will see that today, or anytime soon.
And looking at all of the big ten games..it seems as thow Conseco is a tough place to shoot. OSU wasn't able to practice or shoot around prior to the game. Hopefully the comfort of having a game under their belts helps.
And I have said this before...this OSU team is better when they play games. The layoff is not so good for them. I expect a MUCH better performance.
Be interesting to see how UM plays Sullinger. Last home game, they litterally mauled him. He did end up shooting 11 FT, but could have easily shot many more. Officiating could be key in this game.
I expect a fairly close game. Bucks win by 7-10pts. -

I wouldnt say "no one" Mr. Craft helped out just a tad....ytownfootball;708978 wrote:Right. Not something the Bucks have experienced all season which is what has seen them be hailed as balanced. That "balance" isn't quite as evident when literally no one steps up like yesterday.

You mean to tell me the Big Ten doesn't let their teams practice in the arena of the tournament? -

Yeah, this was news to me. I was working so no insight whatsoever. The only thing I could think of was being the middle game and in the interest of time etc. etc... -

Eh.
They have the days leading up to the tournament, usually the day before it all starts when all the teams are there. Obviously things could be different for the Big Ten, but.... -
se-alumOSU didn't get to Indianapolis until Thursday night.

So it was by their own doing they didn't have practice time?
